A family-owned and operated farm out of Harvard, Illinois shared a precious video of their miniature Donkey named Cupcake on September 22 and Cupcake will be giving birth any day now.

Female donkeys are usually pregnant for around 11 months, and I'm sure the waiting period for the blessed new arrival can seem like it takes forever!

The TikTok account for @Fluffyfeatherfarm posted the adorable video and people are so excited about the upcoming birth. @Scott comments, "We need a cupcake 24 hour livestream. I need to know how cupcake is doing!" Us too! There's nothing more adorable than a baby donkey and we are sure Cupcake's little one will be no exception. @Missy has a name suggestion and adds, "Please tell me that the baby’s name is going to be “Baby Cakes.” @Carter has their own idea and says, "It would be cute if you named the baby sprinkles."

Donkeys often exhibit certain behavior changes in the hours leading up to foaling. This can include restlessness, pawing the ground, and circling before lying down to give birth. Cupcake has been doing all of these things!

Fluffy Feather Farm posted an update about Mama Cupcake but sadly, no baby has shown up yet!

This video shares where Cupcake and the other donkeys can roam and what their enclosures look like, and their farm is absolutely gorgeous.
