With Donald Trump and Melania Trump’s son Barron Trump graduating high school in a mere few months, people have been wondering what his path into adulthood will look like. Will he continue to stay under the radar like his mom? Will he follow his dad’s business footsteps? Many have theorized that Barron could handle his father’s businesses as a way to follow in his footsteps. However, one legal expert has gave their two cents about that career path, and it may or may not be what you expect.

Former federal prosecutor Michael McAuliffe told Newsweek via MSN that he doesn’t think Barron will take over the family businesses when he graduates high school. “In short, no,” he said. “As for the Trump businesses, an 18-year-old isn’t a realistic candidate to take on true executive duties.”

So, while Barron may not go into the family business, many have theorized he will follow Donald’s footsteps in another way: by attending his alma mater.

In a previous interview, Donald said, “Barron’s very tall – about six-eight. And, he’s a good kid. He’s a good-looking kid. He’s a great student, very good student,” adding that they’re are “looking at” the possibility of Barron going to the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania for college.

While Barron is the most low-key of all of Donald’s kids (and for good reason since he’s a literal child), many have wondered what his next step would be: something reminiscent of his father? His mother? Or an all-new path of his own? Only time will tell.
