This Expedition Cruise Line's Latest Sale Has BOGO Trips to the Galapagos

Expedition cruise line HX, formerly known as Hurtigruten, is making it easier to explore hard-to-reach destinations with a sale that has BOGO trips to the Galapagos along with big savings on other adventure itineraries.

As part of its “Explore the Extraordinary” sale, the cruise line is offering buy-one-get-one savings on trips to the Galapagos Islands for travelers who book by March 31, HX shared with Travel + Leisure. The offer applies to all Galapagos itineraries on the cruise line’s MS Santa Cruz II ship departing from April 27 to Sept. 25.

To take advantage, travelers must pay the first cruise fare at full price.

Trips to the Galapagos with the company include local flights, a pre-cruise hotel, the Galápagos Islands National Park admission fee, excursions, and use of the ship’s science center complete with a library, microscopes, and samples.

In addition, Hurtigruten is offering up to 40 percent off all cruises through 2025, including to sought-after destinations like Alaska, Antarctica, and Greenland.

Travelers can save big on a 12-day cruise to Antarctica where they can spot an abundance of penguins, whales, and other wildlife set amongst a breathtaking icy landscape, or sign up for a 19-day journey across the Northwest Passage from Reykjavík to Cambridge Bay in Canada.

Travelers who book with HX are led by expedition teams and have access to onboard scientists for a unique perspective on the destinations they visit. The journeys also feature regionally-inspired and locally-sourced meals, and are all-inclusive with complimentary beer and wine at meals, free Wi-Fi, an included activity in every port, and included gratuities.

Beyond its expedition itineraries, Hurtigruten is known for the Norwegian Coastal Express route, which the company has been sailing since 1893. Last year, the cruise line relaunched service on its Svalbard Express route, connecting Bergen, Norway, with the high Arctic archipelago of Svalbard on the refurbished Trollfjord ship.
