Exclusive Video: Hayley Paige Surprises a Huge Fan on ‘Say Yes to the Dress’
One unsuspecting fan was selected to appear on TLC’s Say Yes to the Dress: America only to eventually receive the surprise of a lifetime. The bride-to-be, Pennsylvania’s representative on the spin-off series, is a mega fan of bridal designer Hayley Paige.
While on the show, the Philadelphia-based to-be-wed received a surprise visit in her hometown office from host Randy Fenoli. However, a bigger shock awaited up the interstate in New York City, where she was scheduled to go dress shopping at Kleinfeld Bridal, home of SYTTD. Inside Kleinfeld’s Room No. 22, Paige—a star of the show and a currently-engaged future bride herself—was equipped not only with her extensive dress knowledge, but hugs for the bride.
“She’s so active in her own part of her community: her own non-profit, her work with kids, her cheerleading, she’s the full package,” Fenoli mused of why he wanted to help Cassie. Producers caught wind of the Pennsylvania bride’s obsession with Paige, in addition to her designs and her inspiring message, leaving Fenoli with only one choice: “Now, I’m going to surprise her,” he remarked.
Paige, of course, is the face of The Knot Spring 2020 Issue. In the mag, she gifts advice to other brides like Cassie who’ve long followed her journey. The wedding dress designer got engaged to Conrad Louis in July 2019, and has been rather candid about her take on finding love and more.
“Be unapologetically optimistic, because your mind-set is everything,” Paige said. “You want to go into it feeling like it’s an entirely new chapter. It’s just a wedding—and it’s your wedding. It doesn’t have to be labeled a second, or a third or whatever. It’s an amazing moment. You go and have yourself a fairy tale.”
