The actor said there's one condition that must be met!

Rob Lowe has been enjoying his Parks and Recollection podcast where he sits down with Parks and Recreation series writer, Alan Yang, to discuss the making of the beloved comedy series. Does it he love it enough to reprise his role as Chris Traeger? Only under one condition!

In an exclusive conversation with Parade.com, the actor, podcast host and health food junkie (He was promoting his partnership with Atkins.) opened up about a possible Parks and Rec reboot.

When asked if he'd be willing to throw his hat into the ring, he responded, "I have one rule in show business—follow Amy Poehler wherever she goes."

In April, Poehler told People that she would be down for a reboot of the hit NBC sitcom, noting, "I'm always standing by."

"Anytime anybody gives me the word, and I'm down," the actress added.

While chatting with Parade.com, Lowe praised his former co-star, stating, "She's one of my favorite people. She's so smart and funny, great director."

But whether he would reprise his role comes down to simply one thing—Poehler directing the reboot. "I will do the Parks and Rec thing as long as Amy directs it," he said with a smile.

Lowe and Poehler aren't the only ones who mentioned that they'd be interested in another round of Parks and Rec! Nick Offerman, who brilliantly brought Ron Swanson to life, also expressed excitement about the possibility while chatting with Today.

“Yeah, anytime we can get back in that boat, I love boats, I love fishing, let’s do it," he said.

Parks and Recreation ran for seven seasons (2009 to 2015) and featured a fantastic cast, including Chris Pratt, Rashida Jones, Aubrey Plaza, Retta and more.

Although there are no reboot talks in the works at this point, the series finale seemingly left the door open by giving fans a glimpse into the future lives of each character.

With three cast members ready to return to Pawnee, Indiana, it might be time for the writers to start penning a script!
