Exclusive: Inside the Luxe St. Barth Villas That Will Come With the 2024 Oscar Gift Bags

The next Academy Awards may be on the other side of the calendar, but Robb Report already received an exclusive sneak peek into one of the most exciting perks in 2024’s six-figure “Everyone Wins” gift bag. Here’s a hint: It’s on an island…in the Caribbean…named for a saint…and his name isn’t Thomas or Vincent. That’s right, 25 Academy Award nominees in the top five Oscar categories are going on a luxury vacation to one of a variety of curated villas on St. Barth.

That’s according to Cleo Anderson, the official Luxury Travel Curator for the high-profile Hollywood goodie bag, and host of LuxeTV’s “Wanderluxe.”  She tells us that all of the villas come courtesy of the the Saint-Barth Paradise luxury villa rental group, and are part of their collection of seven properties renting from $20,000 to $140,000 per week in high season. All of the villas include bare necessities like Jacuzzis, wifi, smart TVs and the kind of super-equipped kitchens even Gordon Ramsay wouldn’t curse at. A groundskeeper, daily housekeeping services, and transfer from the airport to the villa is also provided. The concierge service takes care of little extras, such as private drivers and in-villa chefs.

More from Robb Report

With high profile 2023 releases from Bradley, Leo, Ryan, and Margot, you can bet on seeing their names on the nominee list. But just how do you choose a  property for somebody like Leo, who seems to spend all his downtime on a superyacht, sailing somewhere sumptuous?

“Location is a big thing,” says Anderson. “The stars need to be willing to travel and spend time there. Uniqueness is another factor…And always privacy. It has to be a location or property where they won’t be photographed incessantly.”

Here’s a look inside a few of the villas she’s selected for this year’s winners.

Villa Mythique

Of the five villas, Anderson has two personal favorites. Villa Mythique is one of them.

“It has a Balinese feel,” she says. “The palm trees swaying in the breeze. The pool has lots of privacy. It’s gorgeous.”

Located in Marigot, on a cove on St. Barth’s northeastern coast, it’s an almost 3,600-square-foot, six bedroom, all-en suite abode. It has comes stacked with a 49-foot heated outdoor infinity pool that drops off to an astounding view of the Caribbean Sea.

Water melts into water by the pool at Villa Mythique.

A-list guests will lounge on the terrace and entertain at the formal 12-seat dining table. Inside, that Balinese look comes via a richly hued wood paneling that lines the living rooms and bedrooms. Other custom woodwork includes a headboard in the master bedroom that blends modern minimalism with ancient symbolism. Mythique also has its own gym and hammam; and a billiards room. Weekly rates range from $34,000 to $130,000.

Villa Epicure

Her other favorite? This is it.

At 12,324 square feet, Villa Epicure is the largest of the five villas and boasts a 59-foot, heated infinity pool on an expansive terrace with a bar and formal outdoor dining for 14 people. This bi-level beauty, also located in Marigot, has seven bedrooms — the master suite’s magnificent bathroom includes an earthy natural field stone shower cave with a skylight. There’s also capacious indoor dining and lounge areas with endless couches to get lost in. If the relaxing gets too much, pop into the Technogym equipped sports room to pep up the abs.

Space for A-list entertaining is key.

“It has these dramatic black cats on the terrace — pumas that look like they are chiseled out of quartz,” Anderson says. “The interior has lots of beautiful color and lots of space for entertaining.”

Weekly rates range from $34,000 to $140,000.

Villa Secret Garden

A four bedroom that lives up to its name, Villa Secret Garden overlooks Gouverneur Bay. The grand master suite has its own living room, a natural stone bathtub, indoor and outdoor showers, and a Jacuzzi on its private terrace. Weekly rates range from $22,000 to $110,000.

Villa Elle

Located in Pointe Milou, Villa Elle is a pretty four bedroom gem with direct water access — perfect for boaters. It rents for $140,000 per week Then there’s the four bedroom suite Villa Coeur de Pirate, overlooking Anse des Cayes and offering direct private beach access —  the villa is currently reaching the completion of a top-to-toe renovation.

Perhaps useful for stars and directors who want to do a little work whilst on vacay: Epicure, Mythique and Elle all have professional level screening rooms. After all, the next Oscars is always just around the corner. Weekly rates range from $10,000 to $40,00 per week.

Villa Coeur de Pirate

Overlooking Anse des Cayes and offering direct private beach access, Villa Coeur de Pirate is currently reaching the completion of a major renovation. It has four bedrooms, each with en suite bathrooms, a semi-professional kitchen, a cold room, a wine cellar, two indoor and outdoor dining areas, a large heated swimming pool, a fitness center, spa and an outdoor bar. And with a name like that, it seems perfect for a certain beloved Hollywood pirate. Weekly rates range from $34,000 to $140,000.
