Apple TV+'s newest series, Little Voice, is the perfect watch for quarantine. With sweet storylines, powerful writing, and some of the best music you'll ever hear on television, it's definitely a must watch for anyone who is looking for a little love and light in their lives.

Little Voice follows Bess (Brittany O’Grady), a young musician who is trying to find her place in New York City and hopefully overcome her fears of performing her own songs live. Her life turns upside down when new guy Ethan (Sean Teale) hears her sing as he works on his own project right next door to her makeshift studio in a storage unit.

Part of the joy of the show is in the music, thanks to the help of executive producer and songwriter Sara Bareilles. Just like you would expect as you walk down Washington Square Park, music and musicians are everywhere, bringing NYC to life with Bess' journey as she tries to find her own voice in the concrete jungle.

Joining her is her roommate Prisha (Shalini Bathina), who works at a local record shop and even performs in her own mariachi band. It is one of the most refreshing female friendships on television. Their support for one another shines, even in Seventeen's exclusive clip above as Prisha struggles with figuring out her own sexual identity.

"Who you are isn't a choice. It's who you are," Bess says to Prisha.

As they both navigate their own identities in being women of color in the city of dreams, it makes you wish that you were their friends as well. Luckily, viewers will get that chance when the show drops its first three episodes tomorrow, July 10, on Apple TV+.

If you're missing New York or just wanting a little escape in your life, then Little Voice is exactly the kind of thing you've been waiting for. Just get ready to have all the show's amazing songs stuck in your head for the next few weeks.
