Claim to Fame is back, baby, and I could not be more thrilled to see Kevin and "Franklin" Jonas (Frankie seems to be getting a rebrand) back on my TV screen this summer. The first season of Claim to Fame launched in July 2022 and became a sleeper hit for ABC, quickly building a loyal fan base and hailed as one of the best new reality competition shows in recent memory. Now the pair of Jonas brothers are back to host Season 2. We've got 12 new contestants, and a whole new game of lies, deception and secret identities.

Here's everything you need to know about Claim to Fame Season 2:

When does Claim to Fame Season 2 premiere?

Season 2 of Claim to Fame will be premiering on Monday, June 26, 2023 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. New episodes will air weekly.

How does Claim to Fame Season 2 work?

We don't know a ton about the new season, so if there are brand-new twists, we'll be learning them as we go. However, the basic premise appears to have remained the same from Seasons 1 to 2. Twelve celebrity relatives are all put in a house together and are instructed to keep their famous relative's identity a secret. Each week the contestants must compete in challenges—that often include clues as to the celebrity's identity. The winner of the week's challenge gets immunity and an additional clue as to the identity of another houseguest.

This, however, is where the strategy comes into play. The two losers of the challenge are nominated to be that week's "Guesser." The remaining contestants vote on which of the two losers they want to be the Guesser. The Guesser must then single out another player from the cast and guess their celebrity relative. If the Guesser guesses correctly, then the person they revealed is sent home. However, if the Guesser guesses incorrectly, their own celebrity relative is revealed and they are sent home instead. It sounds kind of complicated, but its way more simple when you actually watch the show.

This brings us to the most important question of the season, however:

Who is the cast of Claim to Fame Season 2?

Because so much of Claim to Fame revolves around secret identities, we know next to nothing about the contestants going in. All we've got are photos and their alleged names (because as we saw in Season 1, you can lie about that too).

ABC has given Parade an exclusive first look at the contestants' "names" and photos along with their answers to the "Two Truths and a Lie" game they play during the opening moments of the season. Each contestant must list 1) how they are related to their celebrity, 2) their celebrity's occupation and 3) the biggest award the celebrity has won. However, one of those facts is a lie.

Here is the Claim to Fame Season 2 cast, their "Two Truths and Lie" answers and my best guesses as to who their relatives might be (But keep in mind I have basically no information and these are all flailing shots in the dark):

Carly

Two Truths and a Lie:

 • Relative: Uncle

 • Occupation: Musician

 • Award: Oscar

My Best Guess: While there are musicians with Oscars (like Cher, Lady Gaga, and Elton John), it feels more likely that her famous relative is either a Grammy-winning musician or an Oscar-winning actor. In that case we're looking for an uncle who is probably in his 40s-60s. Possibilities are Jeff Bridges, Russell Crowe and Dustin Hoffman on the acting side (which is a more limited group). There a thousands of Grammy winners, so that could be anyone from Phil Collins to Bono.

Chris

Two Truths and a Lie:

 • Relative: Uncle

 • Occupation: Musician

 • Award: Hollywood Walk of Fame Star

My Best Guess: A well known musician would probably have a Grammy, so I feel like we're looking at a similar pool of candidates for Chris's uncle as we were for Carly's. However a lot more actors have stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame so the pool is larger. Chris has some Tom Cruise energy for me, or maybe someone like Donny Osmond?

Cole

Two Truths and a Lie:

 • Relative: Father

 • Occupation: Singer

 • Award: Grammy

My Best Guess: The Grammy/singer combination match up so the lie is probably that its Cole's father. That opens it up to literally any singer. Beyonce's cousin? Alicia Keys' brother? Stevie Wonder's grandson? Could be anyone, and given that I only have one photo to work off of, there's a lot of racial ambiguity at play here as well.

Gabriel

Two Truths and a Lie:

 • Relative: Brother

 • Occupation: Athlete

 • Award: NAACP Award

My Best Guess: The NAACP Image Awards don't have sports-specific categories, so I think it's likely that Gabriel either didn't want to reveal the exact sport his brother played or he's an actor/musician (but again if that's the case, we'd arguably be looking for someone who had not won an Oscar, Grammy or Emmy). That really leaves a massive group of 20-30-year-old men to choose from. Michael B. Jordan? Kevin Durant? Kid Cudi? Who knows.

Hugo

Two Truths and a Lie:

 • Relative: Grandfather

 • Occupation: Athlete

 • Award: Nobel Prize

My Best Guess: Nobel Prizes are EXTREMELY difficult to get and aren't usually awarded to big name celebrities. They also aren't generally awarded to athletes. So I think Hugo's grandfather is most likely an old school sports star like Babe Ruth or Joe DiMaggio. If it is a Nobel Prize winner, I think the most obvious choice is Jimmy Carter (although it could also be Bob Dylan).

Jane

Two Truths and a Lie:

 • Relative: Father

 • Occupation: Musician

 • Award: Grammy

My Best Guess: The Grammy/musician combo again makes sense so that means we've really got a wide open field of musicians here to choose from. The bottle-red dye job also doesn't help me. Dolly Parton's niece? Olivia Rodrigo's older sister? Gwen Stefani's cousin? Your guess is as good as mine.

JR

Two Truths and a Lie:

 • Relative: Brother

 • Occupation: Musician

 • Award: NBA Championship Ring

My Best Guess: In Season 1, LC used initials to hide her identity, so we could definitely see that going on here. However, I think we must be looking for JR's brother because I don't know of a single musician with an NBA Championship Ring. So either JR's brother is a musician like John Legend or Usher or he's an NBA star like LeBron James or Shaq.

Karsyn

Two Truths and a Lie:

 • Relative: Uncle

 • Occupation: Musician

 • Award: Inducted into the Hall of Fame

My Best Guess: I feel like the musician/Hall of Fame combo makes sense, so the lie is probably that its Karsyn's uncle. That leaves any musician. Blake Shelton? Adam Levine? Ariana Grande? Kelly Clarkson? Could even be someone not on the The Voice?

Monay

Two Truths and a Lie:

 • Relative: Father

 • Occupation: Athlete

 • Award: Emmy

My Best Guess: While there are a small pools of Emmy-winners who are athletes, I don't know why you'd want to narrow yourself down like that, so I feel like Monay's father is either an athlete or an actor. Michael Jordan? Emmitt Smith? James Earl Jones? Laurence Fishburne?

ABC/Gizelle Hernandez

Olivia

Two Truths and a Lie:

 • Relative: Brother

 • Occupation: TV Personality

 • Award: Razzie

My Best Guess: The Razzies are awards mostly for movies, so someone who is on TV (and isn't an actor) probably wouldn't win one. Also, Razzies tend to go to celebrities who are well known, so I think if you had one, you'd have a bigger award you could mention. That leads me to believe that's the lie, so now we're looking for a TV personality who is Olivia's brother. Ryan Seacrest? David Muir? Chris Harrison?

ABC/Gizelle Hernandez

ABC/Gizelle Hernandez

Shayne

Two Truths and a Lie:

 • Relative: Father

 • Occupation: Musician

 • Award: Grammy

My Best Guess: Yet another Grammy/musician combo. Shayne could be related to anyone. Toni Braxton? Rihanna? Tina Turner?

ABC/Gizelle Hernandez

ABC/Gizelle Hernandez

Travis

Two Truths and a Lie:

 • Relative: Father

 • Occupation: Actor

 • Award: Critics Choice Award

My Best Guess: As a voting member of the Critics Choice Association, I love the shoutout here, but it feels like a weird thing to lie about if your relative was an actor who happened to say win an Oscar or Emmy. That leads me to believe that maybe Travis is lying about his relative being his father. Chadwick Boseman? Mahershala Ali? Viola Davis?

Who are the hosts of Claim to Fame?

Kevin Jonas of The Jonas Brothers and his younger brother Franklin/Frankie Jonas are back as the hosts for Season 2. I was obsessed with their fun banter in the first season and am delighted they returned.

What does the winner of Claim to Fame win?

The winner of Season 2 will take home a cash prize of $100,000, so it pays to keep your relative's identity a secret (especially if you aren't in their will).

How do I watch Claim to Fame Season 2?

Season 2 will air new episodes each week on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. They will be available to stream the next day on Hulu.
