From Seventeen

No one could have ever suspected that Chilling Adventures of Sabrina would be saying goodbye for good at the end of part four. After the show's unexpected cancellation by Netflix, the show's actors have had to say goodbye earlier than they had hoped and now they have a final message to all the fans for everything these past four years. Kiernan Shipka and Gavin Leatherwood shared with Seventeen their hopes for all of the fans as they dig into CAOS' final season and big farewell to the iconic horror series for the last time.

"We have just the most wonderful fans ever. They're so enthusiastic and passionate, and I'm sad, we can't give them more. But I am so happy with part four. I think we gave it a sense of closure that will make everyone really satisfied," Kiernan revealed.

She also noted that while they're saying goodbye to the series, they're definitely not saying goodbye to each other.

"And not to say that everyone will love the ending, because that's obviously up to the viewer, but I do think that we we gave it a real ending. Which I'm happy we were able to do, because I think that the fans deserve that. I'm excited for them to so it, but I also wish we could do this forever. It's a bummer that you have to let go of these kind of things, but at least the people will still be around because I'm still friends with all these guys. So that's good!"

Gavin also shared one final note with the fans, thanking them for the experience and also excitement over the show's legacy.

"This whole experience has just been one hell of a ride. The fact that we've had fans from the beginning remain loyal all the way through and we'll have people come later, because it's Netflix and people watch at their leisure, it's amazing," Gavin said. "To be a part of it has been such an honor and a privilege and I'm so stoked that people are going to see this part four. I think we're going to go out with a wonderful bang with loads of memories and gratitude for the whole thing."

At least we'll always be able to revisit it after we say goodbye.
