Casey King, the charismatic star of TLC's new season of Family by the Ton, a spinoff of its hit reality show My 600-lb Life, is serious about changing his lifestyle. But that doesn't make it easy. The 700-pound 34-year-old from Georgia lives with his father and spends much of his days playing video games from bed.

In this exclusive clip below from Wednesday's episode of Family by the Ton, provided to Men's Health by TLC, King tries to get adjusted to his new eating regimen recommended by a dietitian. His mom comes over to his and his father's house to help prepare food for his meal plan, and the conversation gets tense as they debate his passion for playing video games.

"The one thing I've enjoyed even when I was smaller was video games," King says, adding that he would still play the games even if he got down to 200 pounds. To her credit, his mom says she doesn't think video games are the problem, but he should be moving more. "I'm done fighting with Casey about these video games," she admits. "The bottom line is I'm going to support Casey regardless of what he does, but I'm still going to push him a little bit."

She cooks up a lettuce wrap with meat and cheese, and it turns out King likes it quite a bit. "It tastes actually good," he says.

"My mother has always been my number-one supporter," he then tells the camera. "She's literally my biggest fan that I don't deserve."
