Taylor Swift returned to Instagram Live this afternoon to give her second major update on Lover and its release details. And she revealed a lot: first of all, she dropped a new song during the livestream, "The Archer." It is not her next single.

You can listen to it here:

She also discussed how literal pages from her diaries will be included in deluxe additions of her Lover album and that she was shooting her livestream from the set of her upcoming music video.

Here, highlights from the chat:

Swift is thrilled about the success of the Equality Act Petition she started during Pride Month: "The Equality Act Petition is almost at half a million signatures."

On why Swift is sharing pages from her diaries in her deluxe album editions: "I was thinking of the concept of it having been 13 years since my first album came out so I thought it’d be cool to do something retrospective." Then she revealed that throughout her career, she has been keeping a diary of everything that happened.

"I don’t know if I’ve really talked to you about this or anything but I’ve been writing in diaries since I was 13 years old, and I have written about everything that has happened to me. That’s been one of my ways of coping with things. I need to write songs or write something to process life, good times or bad." She then showed stacks of her diaries from over the years with sticky notes she marked. "When I went through them, I marked pages that you may be interested in seeing so these are the deluxe additions of the album and in four of them is 110 pages of my diaries."

"They’re just scanned. It’s everything from pictures drawn, photos of that time in my life, you know I used to like tape stuff in my diaries, that stuff is all in there, so I’m just going to show you a bit. There’s a foreword I’ve written. It kind of goes through—each one of these has 30 pages because there’s four…and then it goes to your opportunity to turn this into your journal and process things in your life by writing about them and then at the back of it is the CD and art and the booklet." Those are available for preorder at Target now.

On Swift's decision to release track 5, "The Archer" now: "There’s a lot that’s covered emotionally [on Lover], and I really wanted to give you track 5 before the album came out so track 5 is kind of a tradition that really started with you guys because I didn’t realize I was doing this but…instinctually I was putting a very vulnerable honest emotional song as track 5. So because you noticed this, I started to put the songs that were honest, emotional vulnerable, and personal as track 5."

"The Archer is not the next single. It’s just a song I love on the album. I haven’t made a video for it or anything. This is just sort of a glimpse into another side of the album I wanted to show you."

"The Archer" was made with Jack Antonoff: "There’s a vast part of this album that I worked with Jack Antonoff on. He is phenomenal. We’ve worked together for a while and I’m so proud of the work we’ve done on this album so I wanted to show you [an example of] what we’ve done."

On her VMA nominations: "I didn’t know the VMA nominations were coming out today, and I just am so happy and grateful, and I’m so happy this is happening with this music, and "You Need to Calm Down" was the most unbelievable experience to get to make with people you love so much. I’m so proud of it. I love you guys so much."
