For all the Vanderpump Rules superfans who have been wondering how much, exactly, fatherhood has changed Jax “Number One Guy in This Group” Taylor, I have good news. Bravo has just announced a VPR spin-off show, The Valley, which promises to take an inside look at Taylor’s new life as a family man and responsible adult.

Taylor, along with Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute, was fired from VPR in 2020 after they were called out for racist behavior toward another SUR’ver, Faith Stowers, who is Black, per Variety. But Taylor and Doute’s exile from the Bravo-verse didn’t last long, as they were brought in to provide Scandoval commentary on Watch What Happens Live while VPR season 10 was on the air. Doute wound up with a cameo on her old show, and Taylor is slated to make an appearance on season 11.

And now they’re both back for real, but on a new reality show about their lives in the suburbs. Why? How? Here is everything we know about The Valley.

Is there a trailer?

There is a teaser trailer, but nothing from the actual filming. The teaser begins with Taylor slipping on a pair of black leather driving gloves and taking a spin throughout his idyllic suburban neighborhood. He passes one couple surrounded by baby gear and shaking baby bottles like cocktails in the front yard, another couple dramatically using a leaf blower, and another pair opening a car trunk to release dozens of colorful balloons. Next, he passes Doute, dressed in a bright pink cocktail dress, taking out the trash. The clip ends with Taylor bumping into his wife, Brittany Cartwright, who admonishes him to “mow the dang yard.” The camera pans out to reveal that Taylor has been cruising in a child’s toy Jeep.

Who’s in the cast?

We know that the spin-off will include Jax and Brittany, as well as Kristen Doute and her boyfriend, Luke Broderick, per BravoTV.com. They will also be joined by a few new faces. Viewers will get to meet Taylor’s friend Danny Booko and his wife, Nia, who was 2014’s Miss USA, and their three kids. Also in the mix is Janet Caperna, an old friend of Taylor and Doute’s from their West Hollywood days, and her husband Jason. Rounding out the group is Jesse Lally, an old modeling buddy of Taylor’s, and his wife, Michelle, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

No Stassi?

In 2022, Schroeder said on The Morning Toast podcast that a spin-off tentatively titled Valley Rules had been in the works before her 2020 firing from Vanderpump Rules and was supposed to feature her wedding to Beau Clark as the transition episode. But for whatever reason, it doesn’t look as if she’s a part of this new cast. Unless there’s a secret surprise appearance in store.

When does it premiere?

Sadly, we do not have a premiere date yet, but we can tell you it is slated to drop sometime in the spring of 2024, per BravoTV.
