*Warning: Spoilers ahead*

Succession season three practically had us glued to our television screens from beginning to end. The most recent season ended with Logan Roy (played by Brian Cox) discovering that his children wanted to replace him and take over the company. So, what’s next for the Roy family? Luckily, HBO has just released an official teaser trailer and new info about new cast members, exclusive photos, and a premiere date for Succession season four.

Keep reading to find out more details about Succession season four.

It’s time to get excited because the official description for Succession season four has just been revealed. And thanks to Deadline, we now know the fourth season will consist of ten episodes.

The description reads: “The sale of media conglomerate Waystar Royco to tech visionary Lukas Matsson moves ever closer. The prospect of this seismic sale provokes existential angst and familial division among the Roys as they anticipate what their lives will look like once the deal is completed. A power struggle ensues as the family weighs up a future where their cultural and political weight is severely curtailed.”

2. When Is Succession Season 4 Coming Out?

We are happy to report that Succession season four will premiere on (drum roll please) March 26, 2023. Back in June 2022, HBO shared that the cast and crew started filming the new season on social media. The update showed a picture of the director’s clapboard, with the number “401” (short for season four, episode one) written on the side. As for the caption, it read, “Production on Succession Season 4 has begun.”

3. Who Is Returning For Season 4?

Succession stans will see the return of many cast members in the new season, including Matthew Macfadyen (Tom Wambsgans), Nicholas Braun (Greg), J. Smith-Cameron (Gerri), Peter Friedman (Frank), David Rasche (Karl Muller), Fisher Stevens (Hugo Baker), Hiam Abbass (Marcia Roy), Justine Lupe (Willa), Scott Nicholson (Colin), Zoë Winters (Kerry Castellabate) and Jeannie Berlin (Cyd Peach).

And, according to HBO, there will be a bunch of new characters joining the new season. The network shared there will be some new faces in Succession season four, including Harriet Walter (Lady Caroline Collingwood), James Cromwell (Ewan Roy), Natalie Gold (Rava Roy), Caitlin Fitzgerald (Tabitha), Ashley Zukerman (Nate Sofrelli), Larry Pine (Sandy Furness), Mark-Linn Baker (Maxim Pierce), and Pip Torrens (Peter Munion).

If you need a refresher, Succession revolves around Logan Roy, the head of the largest media conglomerate in the world. When his children learn of his impending retirement, they battle against each another to claim the top spot.

5. Is There a Trailer?

Now there is! HBO recently released the first official teaser trailer for Succession season four (and we are soooo excited). The teaser starts with Logan’s children—Kendall (Jeremy Strong), Shiv (Sarah Snook), Roman (Kieran Culkin) and Connor (Alan Ruck)—trying to get in touch with their father, but to no avail.

It seems Logan has cut off communication with his children following (spoiler alert) their failed attempt to stop him from selling Waystar. “Ummmm, I’m afraid we’re gonna have to hear that voice,” Roman tells his father’s assistant on the phone.

Cue a montage of scenes featuring family meetings, decisions and—of course—betrayals. The short teaser ends by confirming season four will return to HBO on March 26.

Excuse us while we go watch the teaser for the fifth time today…
