Taylor Swift embarked on the wild journey of re-recording her first six albums after her betrayal-born beef with Scott Borchetta and Scooter Braun made headlines. As her re-recorded releases are nearly coming to a close, there are two of her acclaimed albums left in the running: her self-titled debut and the last album she recorded before switching labels in 2019, Reputation. In the spirit of re-entering her Rep era, I'll leave you with this one thought that was perfectly delivered by TikTok user @imyakiem:

Now that Taylor's *finally* taking back her name and reputation, Swifties are convinced that Reputation (Taylor's Version) is next on the docket.

In 2017, Tay kept things low-key when it came time to release her punchy sixth studio album—seriously, she blacked out all her social media feeds and posted a clip of a snake to usher in the iconic era. With little to no details coming from the Grammy winner, we can likely expect another surprise drop of the album. From Easter eggs in her outfits to possible vault tracks and features, here's everything we know about Reputation (Taylor's Version).

When does Reputation (Taylor‘s Version) come out?

The original version of Reputation dropped on November 10, 2017, and while Taylor keeps hush about the current release date, we do know that some of it has been done thanks to some Prime Video projects.

First things first, Wilderness featured "Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor's Version)" in its trailer:

There's no word yet on when the album will be released, but according to Taylor's longtime pal Ed Sheeran, the album was still in the works as of August 2023. More on that right here. 👇👇👇

Are there any features on Reputation (Taylor’s Version)?

We can count on Ed to come back for Reputation as he made several appearances on her Red re-record in 2021. Ed is featured on the bombastic second track of the album, "End Game," with Future, whose involvement hasn't been confirmed yet.

In August 2023, Ed revealed that he hadn't laid down his recordings for the track during an interview with Andy Cohen on the Deep & Shallow Podcast. "No, I haven't. No. No," he said. "But 1989 (Taylor’s Version) is the next one coming out. That's the next one."

As of right now, Tay hasn't announced any additional features for her Reputation re-record.

What about the Reputation vault tracks?

In the past, Taylor has teamed up with artists like Chris Stapleton, Phoebe Bridgers, Maren Morris, Hayley Williams of Paramore, and Fall Out Boy for vault tracks. She's been tight-lipped about the highly-anticipated vault tracks for Reputation (Taylor's Version), but we're staying tuned to see how many there are and who might make an appearance.

Are there any Reputation (Taylor’s Version) Easter eggs?

Oh, yes—there's plenty. Nearly every time Taylor's been publicly photographed since the release of 1989 (Taylor's Version) last August, the singer has subtly made nods to her famous Reputation era through her clothing. Dive into each outfit below:

On February 4 (aka the day of the 66th Annual Grammy Awards 👀), Taylor also changed her profile picture to a black and white version of her Midnights album cover, leading fans to theorize that a Reputation announcement could be on the horizon. That same day, Tay's official website crashed—and a Swiftie with FBI-level attention to detail looked into the site's coding.

"Looking at the source code, this is 100% not an actual error, this is Taylor being up to something," the fan wrote on Twitter. The theory was seemingly confirmed by the singer's official fan account, Taylor Nation, as they liked the tweet.
