Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher on the big screen? Together? Yes, please.

Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher are something of rom-com royalty — Witherspoon's 2001 mega-hit Legally Blonde is still appointment viewing on cable networks for non-cord cutters. Kutcher's credits in the genre include Just Married (2003) and Valentine's Day (2010), but he hasn't done one since No Strings Attached (2011).

Witherspoon has also taken her talents elsewhere, expanding to streamers like HBO's Big Little Lies (2017-2019), AppleTV+'s The Morning Show (2019-present) and Hulu miniseries Little Fires Everywhere (2020).

Both have dusted off the rust and they make charming a rom-com return, teaming up to star in Your Place or Mine. Here's what we know about the sure-to-be-endearing flick, including the release date and where you can stream it.

Though Kutcher and Witherspoon may not have known each other well, Witherspoon is pals with Kutcher's wife, Mila Kunis. Apparently, the three have a group text going, and Kunis playfully ribbed them after the red-carpet premiere.

"My wife called me. She texted me and Reese together, and she's like, 'Guys, you gotta, like, act like you like each other.' And I'm like, 'What's going on?'" Kutcher said on the podcast, Chicks in the Office. "Here's the thing: If I put my arm around her...the rumor would be that I'm having an affair with her. If I stand next to her, I put my hands in my pockets so there's no chance that, like, that could be the rumor."

Do Ashton Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon get along?

All signs point to yes. Though the two Hollywood mainstays have built decades-long careers, Your Place or Mine marked the first time they worked together. Witherspoon told TODAY that they began chatting a month before the cameras began to roll so they could genuinely portray their characters, who were longtime friends.

Witherspoon is also good friends with Kutcher's wife, Mila Kunis. To keep real-life romance rumors at bay, Kutcher and Witherspoon didn't put their arms around one another during the red-carpet premiere of the flick, which Kunis teased them about.
