We love shopping at Trader Joe's, and the brand is always coming out with new foods and products we can't wait to try. Every month we pick our favorite new products so you know exactly what to add to your grocery list. And this season, Trader Joe's is stocking must-haves snacks and sweets. As we transition into autumn, you can expect to see seasonal favorites such as pumpkin bagels and pumpkin spice coffee returning to shelves, as well as a few new fall-themed products to satisfy your pumpkin cravings. You can pair these new products with your regular staples (like these foods we like to buy at Trader Joe's) or stock up on the newest treats ahead of your next party. We're always anxiously awaiting Trader Joe's next release because their new products are almost always winners, and October is already off to a strong, tasty start.

According to the Trader Joe's podcast episode "Here We Grow," each new product has to pass through what the store calls a "rigorous tasting panel" before making its way to the shelves, so there aren't hard and fast timelines for any new products—and they don't necessarily hit every store at the same time. We recommend checking in weekly with your local store to see if they've received the new products you have your eye on. Maple Pecan Cookie & Baking Mix

Use this cookie and baking mix to whip up all sorts of maple-pecan treats whenever someone who doesn't love pumpkin spice (it's hard to believe, but there are plenty of these folks out there) has a hankering for something sweet this fall. Thanks to Trader Joe's there's no reason they should feel left out. You can get a 16-ounce box of the maple-flavored, pecan-filled mix for $3.49 this season.

Chopped Medjool Dates

Add chopped medjool dates to your baking, salads, yogurt, or grab them by the handful and toss in your mouth for a naturally sweet snack. No matter how you eat them, it's a treat to not have to deal with chopping the sticky, pit-containing fruit yourself. These eight-ounce tubs will be sold while they last this holiday season for $4.99 in the nuts and dried fruit section of the store. The chopped dates are coated in coconut flour to keep them from sticking together, but otherwise free of any additional ingredients.

Pumpkin Bisque

We were already pumped for soup season, but Trader Joe's gave us another reason to love this time of year. Their creamy pumpkin bisque is made with pumpkin purée, heavy cream, honey, and spices like cinnamon and nutmeg for rich fall flavor. The grocery store chain sold pumpkin soup in the past, but they gave it an upgrade with this hearty bisque. Get a 25-ounce jar for $3.99—but only for a limited time, so grab a couple of jars if pumpkin is your thing and soup season is your favorite season.

Halloween Gummies

When you're considering what kind of candy to give out on Halloween, these festive-themed gummies are a fun idea kids will gobble up. A 14-ounce bag of 19-21 mini pouches, sells for $3.49, making it about 20 cents per pouch, and a deal so good it's scary. The gummies come in five ghoulish shapes and are made without gelatin or chemical dyes.

Apple Cider Jam

'Tis the season for all things apple: apple picking, apple cider recipes, caramel apples—you name it. This sweet apple cider jam is a great partner for your apple goodies or for infusing apple flavors to non-apple eats. The product description on Trader Joe's website says the jam is made with Maine and Washington apples, New England apple cider, and spices like cinnamon, cloves, and ginger. You can get a 12-ounce jar for $3.99 while it lasts.

Pumpkin Pie Spiced Ginger Brew

Create a signature fall cocktail with Pumpkin Pie Spiced Ginger Brew—or simply drink it on its own. The fizzy, non-alcoholic drink has a mulled apple cider-like base with ginger purée, pumpkin pie spices (think cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, allspice, and clove), with a bit of sugar for sweetness. Each 750-ml bottle sells for $2.99 and comes in an eye-catching swing-top glass bottle.

Boo Bark

You'll feel like a kid again enjoying this chocolate bar that features four festive candies (one that looks like eyeballs!). The bark starts with a base of milk chocolate that's then topped with chocolate eyeballs, orange candy-coated chocolate pieces, candy corn, and pieces of chocolate Joe Joe's cookies. The combination is clearly for those with a serious sweet tooth, but apparently the "bark is worth every bite," according to the product description. The chocolate bar is available for $2.99 and will be in stores until Halloween, or while supplies last.

Mini Brie Bites

These perfectly-portioned cheese snacks are a great purchase for those days when you have a midday (or middle of the night) craving for the creamy, buttery taste of Brie. You can get a package of five for $4.49, although we're thinking we might need to buy a couple bags based on how fast we'll eat them. Pair them with crackers, nuts, fruits—whichever your preference—and you're sure to have a savory, no-fuss snacking experience.

Cinnamon Bun Spread

Like Trader Joe’s famous cookie butter, there’s no wrong way to use their new Cinnamon Bun Spread. According to TJ’s, it’s made with all the best parts of a cinnamon roll—in this case, that includes butter, ground cinnamon, and a dash of vanilla extract. This smooth spread is stored near the jams, and you can pick up a 10-ounce jar for $3.49 to spread on toast, waffles, pancakes, and anything else you can think of.

Maple Ginger Cookie Swirl Ice Cream

Trader Joe’s may have filled their shelves with pumpkin products for fall, but maple is steadily gaining ground. For $2.99, you can pick up a pint of their latest enticing ice cream flavor, Maple Ginger Cookie Swirl. Creamy maple ice cream is studded with pieces of Trader Joe’s Triple Ginger Cookies, complemented an additional swirl of maple throughout. Scoop it up with an extra ginger cookie on the side.

Simply Almond Beverage

We’ve seen almond milk on shelves at Trader Joe’s before, but never quite like this. Unlike some of their other almond milks that include extra ingredients for flavor or to prevent your “milk” from separating, TJ’s Simply Almond Beverage only has almonds and water. Plus, according to Trader Joe’s, this $4.99 addition to the dairy case has about four times as many almonds as other popular almond milks, meaning each 8-ounce cup packs in 4 grams of protein and 9 grams of fat.

Super Sour Scandinavian Swimmers

Trader Joe’s Scandinavian Swimmers have been around for years (since 2016, to be exact), and they’ve won over TJ’s fans with their cute sea creature shapes and soft, chewy texture. Now, you can find their brand new super sour counterpart on shelves for $2.99. They’re just like the gummies we already love, only with a tangy, mouth-puckering twist.

Autumn Maple Coffee

Not a fan of pumpkin spice in your coffee? Don’t despair, because Trader Joe’s new Autumn Maple Coffee tastes just like fall, minus the pumpkin. Each $7.99 bag is made with Arabica coffee beans grown in Central America, Colombia, and Brazil, enhanced by maple flavoring that comes from Vermont maple syrup. Take it to go in your travel mug, or enjoy a cup alongside your pancakes, waffles, or morning cereal.

Everything but the Bagel Greek-Style Yogurt Dip

Everything but the Bagel Seasoning fans, have we got news for you: Trader Joe's released a creamy Greek yogurt dip made with their iconic savory seasoning. Like the popular seasoning blend, this new product makes it totally acceptable to enjoy the flavors of an Everything bagel at any time of day. We could see ourselves dipping pita chips, crackers, veggies, and just about anything else we can find into this delicious dip. Plus, if you can't find it at your local Trader Joe's, it only has two ingredients, so it would be easy enough to create your own version with a carton of plain Greek yogurt and a few shakes of Everything but the Bagel Seasoning.

Light Ice Cream

The last few weeks of summer call for ice cream, and Trader Joe’s is rising to the occasion with their new Light Ice Cream. Similar to Halo Top, each pint has at least 20 grams of protein and only about 400 calories. Keep an eye out for two different flavors: Chocolate Peanut Butter, which features milk chocolate ice cream with swirls of salty peanut butter, and Joe-Joe’s Cookies & Cream, which starts with vanilla ice cream, then mixes in crumbles of chocolatey Joe-Joe’s Cookies. Each pint is priced at just $2.99, so go ahead and treat yourself.

Chocolate Hummus

We know dessert hummus might sound a little out there, but, hey, we dedicated an episode of Extra Sweet to the idea—and we trust Trader Joe’s to find a way to also make it irresistible. Like any other hummus recipe, this one starts out with chickpeas and tahini, but instead of adding savory mix-ins, sugar and cocoa make it sweet and chocolatey. While we could probably just eat it by the spoonful, it also sounds perfect for dipping fruit slices, pretzel sticks, crackers, and anything else you can find. According to Trader Joe’s, you should be able to find it in their refrigerated deli cases for just $1.99, and we’re heading out now to stock up.

Organic Dutch Gouda Cheese

We’re always happy to hear about a new cheese to try, whether it arrives at Trader Joe’s or is one of Aldi’s new releases. To help make your last few summer cheese plates memorable and Instagram-worthy, Trader Joe’s is introducing Organic Dutch Gouda Cheese, which, you guessed it, is imported from the Netherlands. The flavor is supposed to be nutty with slight notes of caramel, and each package has been aged for at least 10 months. It’s hitting the cheese case now for $10.99 per pound, so make sure you grab some to enjoy with your last few glasses of rosé.

Everything Ciabatta Rolls

We already love Trader Joe’s Everything Bagels and their Everything but the Bagel Seasoning, but now they’ve outdone themselves. Their new Everything Ciabatta Rolls are just as tender as other bakery ciabatta rolls, with the mouthwatering addition of sea salt, sesame seed, poppy seed, dried minced garlic, and dried minced onion on top. Trader Joe’s recommends using them to make yourself a summery Caprese sandwich, and we’re planning on turning them into a bacon and egg breakfast sandwich. You can find them in the bakery section for just $2.49 for four rolls. Just think of all the other sandwich possibilities!

Strawberry Greek Frozen Yogurt Parfait Bars

On a hot day, frozen yogurt (particularly frozen Greek yogurt) can be a healthier alternative to regular ice cream treats and bars. But Trader Joe’s latest creation is making them acceptable as a breakfast treat, too. Their new frozen yogurt bars are like a mash-up of traditional ice cream bars and a breakfast parfait. Each one is made with Greek yogurt, strawberry purée, and crunchy vanilla almond granola clusters, and it’s just $2.99 for a box. So that settles it—we’re having ice pops for breakfast this summer, and we’re stocking up on enough four-pack boxes to last us ‘til October.

Mac and Cheese Bites

Mac and Cheese Bites are back! Dedicated Trader Joe’s shoppers will recognize these ultra-cheesy apps from their initial debut in 2010, and they’ve sky-rocketed in popularity since then (making it all the more heart-breaking when TJ’s supplier couldn’t produce them anymore). But finally, the cheese bites are back, and they’re even better than before. The improved bites have a thinner, crispier panko breading, and the mac and cheese inside blends together a surprising number of cheeses: Cheddar, Havarti, Swiss, Gouda, cream cheese, Monterey Jack, and pecorino Romano are all included. You can find them in boxes of 10 for $3.99, and we’re adding at least five to our cart.

Crêpe Wafer Cookies

Trader Joe’s is just as good at creating sweet treats as they are savory ones, which is why we’re adding their new Crêpe Wafer Cookies to our gotta-taste list. They’re made in France, of course, and feature dozens of layers of buttery dough folded together and baked until crispy. According to TJ’s, they taste like a delicious cross between crêpes, croissants, and vanilla waffle cones. We’re envisioning them with a big bowl of ice cream and a chocolate drizzle, and for $2.49 per box, they’ll be easy to add to all of our frozen treats this summer.

Turmeric Ginger Coconut Beverage

Haven’t hopped on the golden milk trend yet? Now’s your chance to try it, because TJ’s is offering their own creation in 32-ounce cartons for $2.69. Their version is dairy-free, and it blends together coconut milk, honey, turmeric powder, ginger juice, cinnamon, and black pepper. You can pour yourself a cold glass or a steaming mug, or try adding to a latte as a milk substitute. Really, there’s not much this bright gold beverage can’t do—Trader Joe’s even has instructions on their site for turning it into a brilliant chia pudding.

Lemon Peal Hard Lemonade

Summer is officially here, which means it’s time to start getting your poolside and patio sips in order. Along with canned wine and rosé, stock your fridge with Trader Joe’s new Lemon Peal, a malt beverage made with fresh lemon juice, cane sugar, and citric acid mixed in. According to TJ's, it's a little like vodka, but from malt, and the result is a deliciously fizzy drink. You can find them at any Trader Joe’s where beer is sold in six-packs for just $7.99—a great price for sharing with friends all summer long.

Fresh Peonies

This week the grocery chain rolled out bunches of fresh peonies in their floral sections, and we can't wait to get our hands on a bucket full of these gorgeous blooms. Typically peonies are in bloom from late April through June, so we're guessing these won't be on shelves for long. Cold Brew Coconut Cream Lattes

This dairy-free and vegan latte hit shelves on May 29, and already has rave reviews. The drink comes in two flavors—original and caramel spice—and is made with a blend of coconut cream, cane sugar, and cold brew coffee. The lattes are sold in 9-ounce cans for $1.99 each.

Ghost Chile BBQ Sauce

This ultra-spicy barbeque sauce is just what your next backyard summer barbeque needs. Made with ghost peppers, molasses, and spices, this sauce packs a punch but is sweet enough to appeal to taste buds of all kinds. A 19.2-ounce bottle is now available for just $2.69.

Dark Chocolate Almond Butter Cups

Trader Joe's Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups are among customer favorites. But for peanut-butter avoiders, there wasn't an alternative until now. Cleverly, TJ's introduced its cousin: Dark Chocolate Almond Butter Cups. They're individually wrapped but sold in an 8-ounce tub for $3.99, so you can share—or savor by yourself—as many as you like.

Jerk-Style Plantain Chips

Trader Joe's seems to be on a snack kick just in time for summer. We're digging these spicy seasoned plantain chips. Allspice, garlic powder, cinnamon, coriander, nutmeg, and ginger are just the base—the real star is a hot red chile pepper powder that spice fans will love. The chips are cooked with sunflower oil and come in snack-size 6-ounce bags for less than $2.

Butterscotch Bits Chocolate Bars

This tasty chocolate treat gives butterscotch the attention it deserves. As a bonus, the chocolate bar is made with milk and dark chocolate swirled together so you don't have to choose between the two. The break-apart pieces make it easy to share—but who's doing that?

Spicy Avocado Hummus

This dip has all the traditional hummus taste and texture, joined by avocado and a little kick from jalapeño. Avocado seems to be a popular dip option at Trader Joe's, so if this one isn't your style, you can always try the Avocado Tzatziki Dip that came out earlier this year.

Milk Chocolate Caramel Crunch Medallions

When we saw these boxed cookies, we knew they were destined for our cart. These round wafers are made with Belgian milk chocolate and topped with sugared hazelnuts—plus a sweet, gooey caramel inside. If you like your coffee with hazelnut creamer, you'll love it with these cookies. Pick up a box of 18 cookies for $2.99.

Tortilla Chips and Brussels Sprouts

These tortilla chips are made with powdered Brussels sprouts before being coated in seasonings (including garlic, onion, and parsley). We know that Brussels sprouts can draw a hard line in the sand for some people, but what intrigued us about these chips was their versatility. We can't wait to use them in our favorite nachos recipe.

Watermelon Jerky

While watermelon jerky sounds unusual, it's actually just watermelon that's been dehydrated. It’s vegan, naturally super-sweet, and you can pick up a bag for less than $4. The internet was going crazy for this watermelon jerky, so it’s no surprise that the first batch was off store shelves before mid-April. No worries! It should be back in June.

Neapolitan Joe-Joe's Ice Cream

Regular Neapolitan ice cream might become a thing of the past if Trader Joe's has anything to say about it. Rather than a basic combo of strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla ice cream, Trader Joe's version of this summer favorite combines vanilla and strawberry ice cream with a swirl of dark chocolate, fudge pieces, and pieces of Neapolitan Joe Joe cookies. According to their podcast, this new seasonal offering should hit the freezer section sometime in late spring or early summer (and we're already counting down the days).

Turmeric Ginger Coconut Beverage

Turmeric is in high demand at Trader Joe's, so the company decided to make their own version of trendy golden milk with this turmeric-infused drink. But as an added bonus, Trader Joe's version is going to be dairy-free, made with creamy coconut milk instead of dairy. Based on the name, it sounds like it'll have ginger flavors in the mix too. It should be coming in the next few months, and we're excited to try it in place of our morning coffee.

Patio Potato Chips

If you've ever stared down the potato chip aisle and been paralyzed by the sheer number of choices available, make sure you add this new potato chip mix to your TJ's list. Their new Patio Potato Chips will combine a variety of summer chip flavors (think salt and vinegar, BBQ, and dill) into one bag so you can snack on them all at once. For the more adventurous snackers out there, this is definitely the best way to try every flavor without shelling out for five different bags of chips.
