Freeridge is coming soon! According to Variety, production on the show's first season has officially wrapped. On My Block creators Lauren Iungerich, Eddie Gonzalez, and Jeremy Haft are co-creators and executive producers on the new series, along with Jamie Uyeshiro and Jamie Dooner.
What is Freeridge about?
There's a new core four in town. According to Netflix's summary, Freeridge follows "sibling rivals Gloria and Ines and their friends Demi and Cameron who have unleashed a curse bringing dark misfortune into their lives."

Will On My Block cast members appear in Freeridge?
Yup! Peggy Blow, best known for her role as Ruby's grandmother Marisol "Abuelita" Martinez, in On My Block, will reportedly star in the new series. The beloved matriarch who tagged along for many of the teen's fun adventures in OMB died in her sleep during the show's series finale. According to Variety, Blow's exact role in Freeridge has not been confirmed.
Paula Garcés, Eric Gutierrez, Eme Ikwuakor, and Raushanah Simmons will reportedly reprise their roles from the original series.
Tenzing Norgay Trainor from Netflix's Boo, Bitch and Disney Channel's Live and Maddie will also appear in Freeridge.
