Everything We Know About Marvel's Phase 5
Here's your guide to every Marvel movie and TV show in the fifth phase.
Marvel fans, assemble because a new phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is on the way! While Black Panther: Wakanda Forever closed out Phase 4. Phase 5 kicked off with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which stars Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror.
“There’s a very special reason [Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania] is kicking off Phase 5, and you just met him: Jonathan Majors," Kevin Feige said at Comic-Con, according to TIME's Eliana Dockterman.
Phase 5 is the second part of the Multiverse Saga, which began in 2021 with Phase 4 and will conclude with two new Avengers films in Phase 6: Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars.
Before the Multiverse Saga comes to an end in 2025, here are all of the Phase 5 movies and Disney+ series that MCU fans can look forward to!
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania
Type: Movie
Release Date: Feb. 17, 2023
Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly are back as Scott Lang/Ant-Man and Hope Van Dyne/The Wasp. Per Marvel, "Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible."

Secret Invasion
Type: Disney+ series
Scheduled Release Date: Spring 2023
The "crossover event series" stars Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn as the Skrull Talos, whose characters first met in Captain Marvel. The cast also includes Cobie Smulders, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Emilia Clarke and Olivia Colman.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
Type: Movie
Scheduled Release Date: May 5, 2023
The third movies see the Guardians of the Galaxy "looking a bit different these days." Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) is "still reeling from the loss of Gamora" (played by Zoe Saldana) and "must rally his team around him to defend the universe along with protecting one of their own," according to Marvel. Marvel's description ominously adds, "A mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them."
At Comic-Con, director James Gunn said (via Variety), “This is the end of that story,” adding, “I’m sorry. Some stories have an end. It doesn’t mean everybody dies.”

Echo
Type: Disney+ series
Scheduled Release Date: Summer 2023
Hawkeye star Alaqua Cox is reprising her role as Maya Lopez in the origin story of Echo. Maya's "ruthless behavior in New York City catches up with her in her hometown" and she "must face her past, reconnect with her Native American roots and embrace the meaning of family and community if she ever hopes to move forward." Loki Season 2
Type: Disney+ series
Scheduled Release Date: Summer 2023
Season 1 starring Tom Hiddleston as the God of Mischief and Owen Wilson premiered in 2021. Loki Season 2 will likely see the iconic trickster and his jet-ski-loving pal (and hopefully Sylvie!) fiddling with the timeline once more.

The Marvels
Type: Movie
Scheduled Release Date: Nov. 10, 2023
Brie Larson stars in the Captain Marvel sequel along with Teyonah Parris (WandaVision) and Iman Vellani (Ms. Marvel).

Blade
Type: Movie
Scheduled Release Date: Sept. 6, 2024
Mahershala Ali will play Blade in the film. The character was heard (though not seen) in one of the post-credits scenes for Eternals.
Ironheart
Type: Disney+ series
Scheduled Release Date: Fall 2023
Dominique Thorne, who is making her MCU debut in the Black Panther sequel, plays Riri Williams, a.k.a. Ironheart, according to Variety. The character builds a suit as powerful as Iron Man's.

Agatha: Coven of Chaos

The WandaVision spinoff series starring Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness was previously titled Agatha: House of Harkness. We can't wait to see what magical mischief she gets into this time!

Daredevil: Born Again
Type: Disney+ series
Scheduled Release Date: Spring 2024
Daredevil: Born Again will be an 18-episode season starring Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio. Cox, who made his comeback as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home, also appeared in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. D'Onofrio first reprised his role of Kingpin in Hawkeye.

Captain America: New World Order

The fourth Captain America film will star Anthony Mackie as Captain America after being Steve Rogers' right-hand man, Hawkeye. Here's hoping we see more grumpy interactions with Sebastian Stan's Winter Soldier!
Thunderbolts

Scheduled Release Date: July 26, 2024
