School is back in session at Las Encinas, which means no one is safe. Elite season four just dropped on Netflix and fans can't stop freaking out over everything that happened. Fans are already hoping for a fifth season to find out what'll happen next to their favorite high school troublemakers. But, just like every other season, things at the prestigious school aren't what they seem and things seem to be wilder than ever. So what is next for our favorite Las Encinas students? Is Elite season 5 actually happening?

Get your Las Encinas uniform ready, because you're going to need it for another semester with your favorite Elite characters. The series has already been renewed for a fifth season, which means that you won't have to worry about renewal.

When will filming for season 5 start?

The cast and crew are already hard at work on the show's fifth season. In a sweet post on the Elite Instagram page, it was revealed that production has already begun on the series.

Who is coming back for Elite season 5?

We already know that anything can happen in Las Encinas, which means the fate of our favorite characters is up in the air. With some of the characters close to graduating and others facing some major enemies, it's hard to tell who will officially come back for another season.

Are there any new characters?

Along with the show's season 5 renewal, two new actors were announced as part of the cast. Argentinian actress Valentina Zenere and Brazilian actor André Lamoglia will be joining for the show's fifth season. Who they're playing is still up in the air, but we definitely can't wait to see what sort of drama they stir up.

When will Elite season 5 be released?

Season 4 just dropped, so it'll be a while until we head back to Las Encinas. However, the series is already set to return in 2022, so it won't be too much of a wait.
