Update: Kylie Jenner's Kylie Skin set-which sold for $125 and included all six products-sold out in six minutes when it became available on May 22 at KylieSkin.com. Jenner took to Instagram Stories this afternoon to let her fans know that every single product sold out by the end of the day. Don't worry if you couldn't get your hands on the first drop-the beauty mogul said they would be restocking the products in the next week or so.

The first Kylie Skin drop was only six products, but more are on the way. There's a foaming face wash, vitamin c serum, walnut face scrub, eye cream, vanilla milky toner, and face cream. The scrub caused quite the controversy when it was announced, since walnut is an abrasive natural exfoliant which could potentially do more harm than good. Since natural exfoliants tend to be jagged, they can create micro-tears in the skin. But Jenner insists the scrub is gentle enough to use multiple times a week. We'll be posting a review of the products after using them for seven days straight.

Update 5/10: Kylie Skin is officially happening! Kylie Jenner took to Instagram today to announce that her first skincare line will be debuting on May 22. This is the first venture into skincare products for the mogul behind the billion-dollar brand Kylie Cosmetics.

Jenner shared that she thought about creating Kylie Skin soon after launching Kylie Cosmetics years ago, and she’s been working on the new company “for what feels like a lifetime.” She continued: “Everything is cruelty-free, vegan, gluten-free, paraben and sulfate free and suitable for all skin types,” she wrote in an Instagram caption. “So much love went into this.”

Original: Kylie Jenner is making moves within the beauty industry-and it's much bigger than just a new Halloween or holiday Kylie Cosmetics collection (though we're just as excited about those too). As first reported by Trademark Ninja, Jenner recently filed a trademark for Kylie Skin by Kylie Jenner and Kylie Skin. That means Kylie Jenner cleansers, scrubs, serums, masks, and moisturizes could be coming to a vanity (or Instagram Story) near you soon.

While the first trademark covers all the products, the second Kylie Skin trademark covers rRetail store services featuring skin-care products, skin-care preparation products, cosmetics, cosmetic preparations and gifts." So we imagine a Kylie Skin pop-up might be in the works-since we know Jenner loves to open temporary pop-up shops across the country. Or maybe she'll finally open a freestanding, permanent storefront to celebrate the launch of her skincare line.

Jenner herself hasn't commented on the Kylie Skin news, and it's worth noting that plenty of celebrities and brands file trademarks for products that might never see the light of day. But given Jenner's rapid expansion of her billion-dollar makeup business, we think skincare is a logical next step. Just last month, she announced that come this holiday season, fans could shop Kylie Cosmetics products in every single Ulta store across the country.

Jenner just released a collection with her best friend Jordyn Woods, and teased an upcoming Halloween collection that will be launching soon. Fans are also speculating that we might see a second edition of her collaboration with big sister Kim Kardashian's KKW Beauty in the coming months.
