The Kissing Booth 2 premiered on Netflix just a few days ago. And now, the cast has revealed that they secretly filmed a third movie, which will hit the streaming service sometime next year.
That’s right, The Kissing Booth 3 was quietly shot in tandem with the highly anticipated sequel, and we had absolutely no idea…until now. So, who’s in the cast? And what is The Kissing Booth 3 about? Keep reading for all the details.
1. When will 'The Kissing Booth 3' premiere?
The Kissing Booth 3 will premiere in 2021. Netflix announced the exciting news during a virtual fan fest, where the cast reunited to spill the beans.
“It was the hardest secret to keep ever!” said Joey King.
2. Who's in 'The Kissing Booth 3'?
The entire original cast is expected to return, including King (Elle), Jacob Elordi (Noah), Joel Courtney (Lee), Maisie Richardson-Sellers (Chloe), Taylor Zakhar Perez (Marco), Meganne Young (Rachel) and Molly Ringwald (Mrs. Flynn).
3. What is 'The Kissing Booth 3' about?
The third movie will pick up right where we left off in The Kissing Booth 2, with the teens taking on post-grad life. The film takes place during the summer before they head to college, which puts Elle in an awkward position. Will she go to Harvard, the same university as her boyfriend, Noah? Or will she attend Berkeley, so she can be close to her BFF, Lee? Decisions, decisions.
4. Is Joey King returning as executive producer?
That’s correct. For The Kissing Booth 3, King served as an executive producer alongside Adam Friedlander. In addition, Vince Marcello (who directed the first two movies) returned as showrunner and also penned the script with co-writer Jay Arnold.
