Everything We Know About Kaity’s Engagement Ring from Bachelor Zach Shallcross
*Warning: Spoilers ahead*
It’s official: Season 27 Bachelor Zach Shallcross is finally off the market.
Last night, the 26-year-old concluded his reality TV journey during the highly-anticipated finale of The Bachelor. After breaking up with contestant Gabi Elnicki, Shallcross gave his final rose to the predicted winner: Kaity Biggar. And in true Bachelor fashion, he proposed to the ER nurse with a gorgeous Neil Lane engagement ring that practically stole the show.
Keep scrolling for details about Kaity’s engagement ring.
1. What Does It Look Like?
The ring features an oval-cut diamond that’s surrounded by a sparkly halo. Kaity told People, “It’s like a huge disco ball.”
2. How Big Is the Diamond?
Set on a platinum band, the accessory features 150 round-cut diamonds in addition to the center stone. To answer your question, the ring is more than 3 carats in total. “When it came time to choose the ring, it was the oval—with all its brilliance and sparkle—that Zach felt best represented Kaity,” Neil Lane told People. “It was a thrill to see her reaction. I wish them a lifetime of joy and happiness.”
3. Why Did Zach Choose This Ring?
Shallcross revealed that it was an easy decision because the oval diamond reminded him of Kaity. “There’s something about that ring that just caught my attention,” he told the mag. “I just, without a doubt, could picture Kaity wearing that ring, and it looking beautiful on her.”
Congratulations to the happy couple!
