Hallmark Channel's newest series follows a rodeo dynasty and stars Tiera Skovbye and Nancy Travis.

In early 2022, Hallmark Media announced two new series would be coming to the network. The Way Home and Ride. The new series join Hallmark's uber-popular long-running series, When Calls the Heart, which will make its 10th season premiere in late July.

The Way Home stars Andie MacDowell and Chyler Leigh as an estranged mother and daughter who must live under one roof after events 20 years prior caused a rift in their relationship. It premiered back on Jan. 15 and viewers are loving the family drama so much that it's already been renewed for Season 2.

The second series is Ride, a multi-generational drama set around a rodeo dynasty, began production in summer 2022. The series stars Nancy Travis and Tiera Skovbye.

Here's what we know so far about new Hallmark series Ride.

What is Ride about?

Ride is a multigenerational family ensemble following the lives of the McMurrays, part of a rodeo dynasty going back a generation, as they struggle to keep their beloved ranch afloat. After a tragic loss, each character embarks on an empowering journey of transformation and self-discovery while also uncovering a twisted web of secrets that threatens to tear the family and their small Colorado town apart at the seams. Emotions run high and clashes are common in the complicated McMurray clan, but they are a tight-knit group who don’t give up easily. And the three strong women of the family—widowed rodeo queen Missy (Skobye), matriarch Isabel (Travis), and former teen runaway Valeria (Sara Garcia)—resolve to stand strong against a variety of challenges and save their ranch and surrounding lands.

When does Ride premiere?

Ride premieres on Sunday, March 26 at 9 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel. The series premiere of Ride will follow the season finale of The Way Home at 8 p.m. ET.
