Another semester has come and gone at Grand Army High School and the school has certainly been rocked to its core over everything that happened. From protests to bomb threats, no one was safe from all the craziness that went down in this winter session. And with so many unknowns still out there, anything can honestly happen in the future. If you thought that things were going so great for our favorite Grand Army students at the beginning, it certainly doesn't feel that way towards the end. Thankfully, the show has a stellar cast that brings it all unfold in a spectacular way that will make you wish there was already a season 2. So will Grand Army be back for another season? And will our favorite characters return?

*Major spoilers for season 1 of Grand Army below!*

Here's everything you need to know about Grand Army season 2.

Is Grand Army season 2 happening?

Unfortunately, Grand Army won't be coming back for another school year. Deadline was the first to report that the series has officially been axed by Netflix. The show's fate has been up in the air for quite a while after first premiering back in October 2020. There's no word on what caused Netflix to delay their decision, but it looks like it might have been a close call.

What woukd Grand Army season 2 have been about?

While it might not be coming back, we could still imagine what the second season would have focused on.

Joey would have had a lot to deal with after her freeing dance class thanks to Tim. He tried to get Joey to text him back and it looks like the guilt of not admitting her rape might finally be getting to Tim. Meanwhile, things seemed to have been looking up for Dom after her mom refused to let her marry Ronald and now she's heading off to prom. But with money still a bit tight, there's no telling what could've happened next. Sid's parents seem to ready to accept him after he got into Harvard, but were they just putting up a front? Leila seemed to have her life together again, but there's still a chance that the school will find out that she was behind the bomb threat. There's also the issue that she won't get the help she needs, so she might start spiraling again. The season ended with Jayson's protest at the All-State concert. There's a chance he might not be able to bounce back from that, so there's probably gonna be a hard conversation about his future and what's next.
