Elite chronicles the lives of the students at the most exclusive private school in Spain, Las Encinas. Murder, lies, and betrayal seem to loom over the halls at the turn of each semester, as new students transfer in and fall into the fold of Las Encinas’ elite and others exit. Season 6 of the Spanish teen drama series debuts on Netflix on November 18, but of course, fans are already wondering what will go down in season 7.
In October 2022, Netflix confirmed that Elite will return for season 7 with a montage of its new stars entering a photo booth, including Alejandro Albarracín, Nadia Al Saidi, Maribel Verdú, Mirela Balic, Fernando Lindez, Iván Mendes, Gleb Abrosimov, and yes (!) Omar Ayuso. Below, we break down all the details of what we know about Elite season 7, from the release date to trailers and more.
When will Elite season 7 premiere on Netflix?
Considering season 6 debuts on November 18, we probably won’t see season 7 for a while. Since the show’s premiere in 2018, subsequent seasons have been released somewhere between six months and one year later. So, we could see season 7 in mid to late-2023, most likely.
Will we see new characters in Elite season 7?
Well, we know that we’ll definitely see six new faces in the upcoming season. In their season 7 announcement on October 26, 2022, Netflix introduced its new stars: Alejandro Albarracín, Maribel Verdú, Iván Mendes, Mirela Balic, Fernando Lindez, and Gleb Abrosimov.
But we also have some familiar faces (!!) joining the show once again. The announcement (and Tudum, Netflix’s companion site) confirmed that Omar Ayuso is reprising his role as Omar Shanaa for the new season. ICYMI, Omar appeared in seasons 1 through 5 of the drama series, but not season 6. Tudum also revealed that Nadia Al Saidi will return as Sonia, who we meet in season 6.
Is there a trailer for Elite season 7?
