Fifteen years after Enchanted, Disney delivers a twisted fairytale sequel, Disenchanted. Amy Adams reprises her role as Princess Giselle, the young royal who stumbled into New York City from the idyllic fairytale land of Andalasia and fell in love with Robert Philip, a cynical divorce attorney. The two wed and start their whimsical life together, but in the sequel, we learn that the couple has grown weary of life in the city and are ready to embark on their new fairytale life in suburbia.

The film, as evident in its title, takes a turn for the dark and twisted when life in Monroeville doesn’t pan out to be as magical as it appeared, and Giselle makes a risky wish. We see new and familiar faces in this new chapter, as the sequel takes place a decade after the events of the original. Below, we break down all the details we know about the Enchanted sequel, Disenchanted, including the release date and cast news.
