Everything You Need to Know About Demi Lovato's New Fiancé Max Ehrich
Celebrities like Ariana Grande are coupling up as they bunker down to self isolate in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and Demi Lovato is right there with the rest of them. Just three months after her split from model Austin Wilson, Demi reportedly has a new man in her life and they may even be social distancing together. Here's everything you need to know about Demi's new boyfriend, Max Ehrich.
1. They're engaged!
Demi Lovato announced on Instagram that she's officially engaged to Max Ehrich. The singer shared an emotional post along with some gorgeous pictures from the proposal.
"When I was a little girl, my birth dad always called me his 'little partner' - something that might’ve sounded strange without his southern cowboy like accent," she wrote. "To me it made perfect sense. And today that word makes perfect sense again but today I’m officially going to be someone else’s partner."
She continued, saying, "@maxehrich - I knew I loved you the moment I met you...I’ve never felt so unconditionally loved by someone in my life (other than my parents) flaws and all. You never pressure me to be anything other than myself. And you make me want to be the best version of myself. I’m honored to accept your hand in marriage. I love you more than a caption could express but I’m ecstatic to start a family and life with you. I love you forever my baby. My partner. Here’s to our future!!!! 😩😭"
From the looks of Demi's pics, Max popped the question on the beach and the ring is MASSIVE. Of course, Max shared a message of his own on his Instagram.

2. Demi Lovato feels "unconditionally loved" by him.
Demi just posted the sweetest message for Max on his birthday. Along with tons of pics of them together, Demi opened up about her relationship with Max on Instagram and it seems like they are totally in love with each other.
"BAAAYYBEEE - I have so much fun with you and there’s so many things I want to say right now but I want to be present and spend this bday with you so I’ll be quick:

3. He's her "angel."
It seems obvious at this point that Demi and Max are, in fact, social distancing together right now (scroll down to #6 for even more evidence). Max just posted another pic with Demi's dog, Batman, on Instagram with the caption "quarantine daze."
Demi commented on the photo, writing, "My angels 😍," of course referring to both Max and the adorable Batman.
But that's not all! Max responded to Demi's comment with his own little emoji message, "∞💘," which I'm going to translate to "love you forever."
So yeah, these two are definitely more than friends. I mean, they're pretty much Insta official at this point. It's only a matter of time until we start to see some cute couple pics (and maybe even a duet).
4. He's an actor.
Max is mostly known for his time on the soap opera, The Young and the Restless where he played Fenmore Baldwin. Since then, he's been in Under the Dome and American Princess. He also had small roles in Shake It Up, Ugly Betty, iCarly, and he was even a backup dance in High School Musical 3!
5. He sings too.
But acting isn't Max's only talent. The 28-year-old can also sing and he's shown off his skills on Instagram.
6. They've been dating for a few months.
According to Us Weekly, back in March 2020, Demi and Max had "met a few weeks ago" and things were already "off to a strong start."
7. Fans found out their relationship after they got flirty on Instagram.
Many initially found out the two got together because of their super flirty Instagram interactions. Earlier this month, Max covered Mario's "Let Me Love You," posting it on Instagram with the caption, "to my <3." Demi commented on the post with the pleading eyes emoji and a heart, to which Max responded, writing, "❤️∞."
Then, the other day, Max posted a shirtless photo with the caption, "when u realize u should’ve packed more for your quarantine stay 😅🤦♂️," Demi responded, writing, "Fine by me..."
8. They may be social distancing together.
There's also a ton of evidence that Max and Demi are social distancing together, starting with the Instagram caption above. On top of that, last night, Max posted with Demi's dogs Batman and Elle on his Instagram story.
If you need even more evidence, the other day when Max was live on Instagram, Demi walked into the frame, despite Max trying to warn her not to. When Demi realized Max was live, she ran off laughing. Max got really flustered by the whole thing and turned his camera off. It was honestly a hilarious interaction.
So yeah, there's definitely something going on here, though they could just be new friends (let's be honest, self quarantining with a new boyfriend is BRAVE). It seems we will have an answer soon, though because they're already being pretty open about their relationship.
