Everything to know about Creator Clash 2: Which influencers were in it?

Now in its second year, Creator Clash is an annual charity boxing event started by American YouTuber iDubbbz (Ian Carter) featuring well-known content creators who face off with one another in the ring.

While the first one took place in May 2022, the second event — known as Creator Clash 2 — was held on April 15, 2023. And judging by its popularity, we’ll likely see another one take place in Spring 2024.

According to the event’s official website, the latest face-off happened in Tampa, Fla., and featured a lineup of “fighters” that included YouTuber Alex Wassabi, professional chess player Andrea Botez and the Twitch streamer Mika. The previous year, other noteworthy names that took part in the rumble were YouTubers Ryan Magee and “I did a thing,” as well as Dj Welch. The influencers involved are typically well-known internet personalities who work in the digital content, animation, entertainment and gaming spaces.

While non-boxing fans might raise an eyebrow at the premise of the event, this isn’t the first time influencers have duked it out in real life. YouTubers Jake and Logan Paul have famously taken to the ring before, facing off with other influencers as well as professional fighters — and they’ve made millions doing it.

But what sets the Creator Clash event apart is that the money goes straight to charity.

The first annual Creator Clash raised a whopping $1.3 million for the American Heart Association, the Alzheimer’s Association of America and Healing Horse Therapy Center. This year, the total amount raised has not yet been announced, but proceeds are said to be going to various charities chosen by each winning fighter.
