There was no stopping country singer Gabby Barrett during Sunday's Billboard Music Awards.
The 21-year-old former American Idol contestant took home three awards —Top Female Country Artist, Top Collaboration, and Top Country Song — for her hit "I Hope" with Charlie Puth. After winning, Gabby took to Instagram to share her excitement and thank her fans. "Thank you, thank you, thank you. I’m blessed beyond measure. A moment I’ll never forget," she wrote.
As if winning awards wasn't enough, Gabby also won big with fans when it came to her dress — a gold Nicolas Jebran number. The knee-length, one shoulder ensemble had a long train that was covered in what appears to be a feather design. The train was so unbelievable in fact, Gabby's husband, Cade Foehner, lovingly adjusted it for her while she went on stage to accept her award for Top Country Female Artist.
Fans were thrilled for Gabby, and were quick to congratulate her and comment on how beautiful she looked. "Congratulations Gabby! You’ve earned the awards you get," one person wrote on Instagram. "I need gabby barrett’s dress asap," someone said on Twitter. "Congrats and wow you look so beautiful all the time," another comment read.
Gabby's stylist, Tiffany Gifford, explained to USA Today how the country singer decided on such a unique dress. "It was the first dress she tried on and we knew it was the one. We really wanted to bring it and, as Gabby put it, 'Go BIG or go home' with the look," Gifford said. "We wanted to make a statement and do something to commemorate such a huge accomplishment in her career."
Needless to say, the impressive dress matched Gabby's impressive night at the Billboard Music Awards.
