Nobody is perfect! And even the Duchess of Sussex is capable of committing a fashion faux pas from time to time. Meghan Markle arrived in Ireland looking gorgeous in an emerald green Givenchy dress, but some eagle-eyed observers noticed something peculiar about her tan-hued Strathberry purse.
It turns out Meghan (or her stylist!) forgot to take off the plastic packaging covering the protective studs on the bag's bottom. Oops! But we have to give Meghan a break, after the long day she had, which began at Buckingham Palace with the rest of the royal family, it's understandable why she may have forgotten to take off the plastic.
But despite the minor fashion faux pas, the bag which features the Scottish designer's iconic bar closure, sold out online hours after she was spotted with it.
The Duchess also owns a tri-color bag from the brand, which she wore during a visit to Edinburgh earlier this year.
Despite the mild fashion hiccup, Meghan has managed to blow us away with one outfit after another while touring Ireland. After wearing the Givenchy dress, she quickly changed into an Emilia Wickstead LBD. She followed Day 1 with a Roland Mouret dress and Givenchy pantsuit for Day 2.
You can easily recreate her Givenchy pantsuit look, which happens to be one of our favorite look from the tour so far, for a fraction of the price!
