Here’s Everyone Who’s Competing on 'Celebrity Wheel of Fortune' This Week

Celebrity Wheel of Fortune is back for its fourth season, with new episodes airing on Wednesday nights throughout the fall. The popular primetime spinoff of the long-running game show is the first incarnation that celebrities have been featured as contestants since "People Celebrity Week" back in 2007, in which Wheel of Fortune celebrated its milestone 25th season by having celebrities face off against fans.

Each hour-long episode consists of two complete games—the first with three regular rounds, and the second with a minimum of three regular rounds including a speed-up round—that combine to form a total score. There are also modified rules, such as four million-dollar wedges on the wheel, as well as an additional cash bonus for each puzzle solved. Games are also played exclusively for cash, with all winnings donated to each celebrity's charity of choice.

Heading into the third episode, this season has already featured all-star contestants such as Brendan Hunt from Ted Lasso, comedian Kel Mitchell, actress Kim Fields, and magician Penn Jillette.

October 18: Rashad Jennings, Marcellus Wiley, and Jared Allen

The Oct. 18 episode of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune features three veterans of the NFL who will spin for charity.

Rashad Jennings is a former running back who has played footballs for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Oakland Raiders, and, most recently, the New York Giants from 2014 through 2016, before announcing his retirement in December 2017.

Jennings is joined by Marcellus Wiley, defensive end and 2001 Pro Bowl selection who spent 10 seasons in the NFL with the Buffalo Bills, San Diego Chargers, Dallas Cowboys, and Jacksonville Jaguars. Since retiring after his 2006 season with the Jaguars, Wiley became a sportscaster, previously co-hosting SportsNation on ESPN, an afternoon drive-time sports talk radio show on ESPN 710AM in Los Angeles, and Fox Sports 1's Speak For Yourself. He currently hosts the More to It podcast, as part of the Dan Patrick Podcast Network.

Jared Allen is likewise a defensive end who spent 12 season with the NFL, where he racked up a number of highlights and awards during his football career. In addition to 136 career quarterback sacks, Allen is a five-time Pro Bowler and four-time All-Pro selection. Following his retirement, Allen took up curling and even formed a team with other former NFL players.

Celebrity Wheel of Fortune will air Wednesday, Oct. 18 at 9 p.m. on ABC, following a brand new episode of Celebrity Jeopardy!
