Between the battle for the Lombardi Trophy, Hollywood's biggest studios were dropping hotly anticipated trailers for the films expected to make waves at the box office this year.

We got a first look at Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande in WICKED, a sneak peek at Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman uniting for Deadpool & Wolverine, and a preview of the all-star cast in action in Twisters.

Here's every trailer that aired during Super Bowl LVIII.

WICKED

WICKED has had a two-decade-long journey to the big screen, and now, finally, there is a teaser of the dazzling untold story of the Witches of Oz. Starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, the first look shows us the dazzling spectacle awaiting us this Thanksgiving.

Twisters

Universal was on a roll after WICKED debuted and threw in another surprise with the trailer for Twisters. The epic disaster movie follows a storm chaser who, haunted by a devastating encounter with a tornado during her college years, returns to the open plains to witness a never-before-seen phenomenon. Daisy Edgar-Jones, Glen Powell, Anthony Ramos, Maura Tierney, Brandon Perea, Daryl McCormack, Sasha Lane, Kiernan Shipka, and Nik Dodani will star in the film that is set to hit theaters in July.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes

20th Century Studios joined the party with the Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes trailer. Set several generations in the future as a new tyrannical ape leader builds his empire. Amidst this, one young ape undertakes a harrowing journey that will cause him to question all he has known about the past, making choices that will define a future for apes and humans alike.

Deadpool & Wolverine

After all the on-set leaks, Ryan Reynolds must be relieved to have got the trailer into the world without anyone spoiling the fun. Complete with signature fourth wall breaks and action shots, the Deadpool & Wolverine trailer packs a lot in without giving too much away.

The Fall Guy

Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt star in The Fall Guy, which follows a stuntperson back from a near career-ending accident tasked with tracking down a missing movie star. The new preview boasts that "this film has everything", and they mean it. Romance, drama, twisted metal, cardio, space cowboys, aliens, teamwork, minerals, swords, hand slaps, butt slaps, ice, ice crimes... the list goes on.

Monkey Man

After the great reception to the Monkey Man trailer last week, Universal decided to drop another preview during the Big Game. Dev Patel writes, directs and stars in this Jordan Peele-produced action-thriller about an anonymous man on a campaign of vengeance.

IF

Ryan Reynolds got another preview amongst the commercials, but this time for a more wholesome offering. IF follows a girl who discovers she can see everyone's imaginary friends and embarks on an adventure to reconnect them with their kids. Reynolds is along for the ride, and the film features stars including John Krasinski, Cailey Fleming and Fiona Shaw and the voices of Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Louis Gossett Jr. and Steve Carell.

Knuckles

Paramount also dropped a TV spot for Knuckles, the upcoming Paramount+ six-episode streaming event. The new live-action series follows Knuckles on a journey of self-discovery as he agrees to train Wade as his protégé, teaching him the ways of the Echidna warrior. Idris Elba voices Knuckles in this hilarious and action-packed series, which takes place between the films Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic the Hedgehog 3.

Inside Out 2

Pixar previewed this one ahead of the weekend, but the new "Teamwork" Inside Out 2 teaser shows the emotional ride of Riley's hockey game as she experiences Joy, Anger, Fear, Disgust, Sadness and Anxiety all in one match.

Despicable Me 4

The Despicable Me 4 Big Game Spot depicts a hoard of minions having fun with AI. Illumination dropped a full trailer a couple of weeks ago, but this short preview was a bonus for those minions fans. Featuring fresh new characters and non-stop action, Despicable Me 4 follows a new chapter as Gru and Lucy welcome a new member to their family.

Kung Fu Panda 4

It was a great night to be an animation fan as DreamWorks offered a short new preview of Po in action in Kung Fu Panda 4. There's not too much going on, but it's a fun 30 seconds for those looking forward to the Jack Black-voiced character returning to the big screen after eight years.

A Quiet Place: Day One

Paramount released the official trailer before the weekend, but they also gave everyone a 30-second teaser for the Super Bowl. Starring Lupita Nyong'o, Joseph Quinn, Djimon Hounsou and Alex Wolff, A Quiet Place: Day One serves as an origin story for John Krasinski's A Quiet Place films.
