Every Picture of Meghan Markle’s Baby Bump So Far

While we don’t have an exact due date yet, we do know Meghan Markle is carrying around a little prince or princess, and we plan to examine every pic of her now ’til her delivery. So bring on the bump-dates (bump updates, obvi). Here, all of the duchess’s cutest mama-to-be snaps.

MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA (Royal Tour Day 3)

Does the choice of blue mean something here? Prince Harry might be a bit disappointed, if so...

Kingfisher Bay, Australia (Royal Tour Day 7)

The duchess clutched her tummy for the first time in public since the baby announcement in a Reformation dress with thigh-high-slit.

Suva, Fiji (Royal Tour Day 9)

And then she wore pink. (Someone tell us the gender, pleaseeeee!)

Markle flashed a knowing smile at photographers as she and Harry arrived in Tonga.

NUKU'ALOFA, TONGA (Royal Tour Day 10)

Never one to shy away from a bold statement, Markle’s figure-hugging white dress accentuated her bump with a seam at the waist. Royal maternity wear: It’s nothing like ours!

NUKU'ALOFA, TONGA (Royal Tour Day 11)

We’re back on the “it’s a boy” train with this baby blue shirtdress from Veronica Beard.

Festival of Remembrance

For their first public outing after the royal Australia tour ended, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex joined Queen Elizabeth, Kate Middleton and Prince William at the Royal Albert Hall on November 10. Markle wore a Stella McCartney coat with a giant black bow perfectly positioned over her growing baby bump.

Westminster Abbey

The fab four were reunited for Armistice Day services on November 11. This time, Markle accentuated her bump with a belted skirt-and-blazer combo in navy.

London Palladium theater

Bet the royals have never seen an expecting mama in a sequin halter top! (Come to think of it, we haven’t either…) Markle stepped out for a black-tie event benefiting the Royal Variety Charity on November 19 wearing a Safiyaa top and long black skirt.

Hubb Community Kitchen

The day before Thanksgiving, the duchess cooked a meal for the Grenfell Tower tragedy survivors for her first solo royal project. And, yes, of course we're thankful for her gorgeous monochromatic burgundy ensemble (an oxblood coat and dress by Club Monaco with Givenchy booties and black tights), but we're even more grateful for the baby-cradling pics of the apron-donning duchess.

British Fashion Awards

Surprise! The duchess showed up unannounced in a stunning bump-hugging Givenchy one-shoulder gown to present an award to Clare Waight Keller, Markle's wedding dress designer. During the event, Markle cradled her bump with two hands. Add that to the angelic halo backlighting, and you have yourself arguably the best photo op of 2018.

Brinsworth House

Reliving her glory days with retired actors at the Royal Variety Brinsworth nursing home, the duchess showed off her growing bump in a form-fitting floral midi dress by Brock.

Christmas Day at Sandringham

Markle followed the age-old tradition of spending Christmas day with the royal family on the queen’s country estate, Sandringham, and attended church services sporting a Victoria Beckham coat and dress. While the bump is a bit hidden due to the dark navy hue and nearly closed cashmere topper, we’re still thankful for a glimpse at the mama-to-be’s holiday style.

SmartWorks

As the newly anointed patron of SmartWorks, a charity that supports female empowerment by helping long-term unemployed women via coaching and interview preparation, Markle donned her first (!) maternity dress at five months' pregnant.

Birkenhead

The Duchess of Sussex announced she’s a feminist during her first joint-outing with Prince Harry of 2019, but her boldness didn’t stop there. She also dressed her bump in a cherry red coat and violet dress, aka our new favorite color combination.

Mayhew

What does one wear to play with puppies while six months pregnant? During a visit to one of her new patronages, Mayhew, on January 16, Markle opted for a bodycon dress from H&M that put her bump and eye for a bargain on display.

Cirque Du Soleil

The duchess looked to one of her favorite designers, Roland Mouret, to make her outfit really pop at the opening of Cirque du Soleil…as if she needed anything else to make her stand out in a crowd.

Association of Commonwealth Universities

While visiting the City University of London as part of her work with the Association of Commonwealth Universities, Markle’s outfit was—dare we say—top of the class.

The National Theater

You can take the actress out of the theater (or the USA sitcom Suits), but you can’t take the theater out of the actress. Markle proved as much on January 30 while visiting her patronage, the National Theater, while six months pregnant.

The Endeavour Fund Awards

Markle dusted off her old friend— the thigh-high slit—in a custom Givenchy set while attending the Endeavour Fund Awards. Aside from bringing a classy dose of sex appeal to the engagement, Markle’s ensemble beautifully highlighted her bump.

‘The Wider Earth’ Gala Performance

Markle looked every bit a duchess in a full winter white ensemble by Calvin Klein while on a date night with Prince Harry at a gala performance of The Wider Earth, a play inspired by Charles Darwin.

New York

The Duchess of Sussex surprised us all when she stepped out in black leggings, a black spandex zip-up jacket, a black baseball hat and a camel colored coat during a secret trip to New York. If Markle can wear athleisure in public, then we totally can.

Casablanca (Morocco Tour Day 1)

For a two day trip, Markle really packed a bespoke designer punch. She kicked things off  by wearing a custom Valentino cape dress and matching pink and red Valentino V-ring crossbody bag to deplane. Some people fly in sweatpants, Meghan Markle flies in couture.

a reception at the British Ambassador’s Residence (Morocco Tour Day 2)

What’s the natural follow up to custom Valentino? Apparently, custom Dior. Markle outfitted her seventh months pregnant bump in this stunning gold cape gown on February 24, leading us to wonder if she really is a super hero.

King Mohammed VI of Morocco’s royal residence (Morocco Tour Day 3)

For her third and final night in Morocco, Markle and her hubby attended a reception at King Mohammed VI of Morocco’s royal residence and she definitely dressed for the occasion in this beautiful Carolina Herrera maxi.

International Women’s Day

Speaking on International Women’s Day on March 8, Markle wore a black-and-white swirl print that fittingly brought to mind Gloria Steinem at the start of the feminist movement.

Prince Charles’s 50th Investiture Anniversary

The duchess dusted off not one, but two of her favorite pieces to celebrate the 50th anniversary of her father-in-law Prince Charles’s investiture as the Prince of Wales. We can’t think of a better time to dazzle in a mixed metallic shift dress. Can you?

Canada House Visit

In honor of Commonwealth Day on March 11, the duchess visited Canada House in London while wearing an emerald green coat and dress set from Canadian designer Erdem. But that’s not all, she also made maple flavored taffy and received a thoughtful gift.

Commonwealth Day Service

Markle paid homage to two icons—Jackie O. and Victoria Beckham—in a white patterned set and pillbox hat from the former Spice Girl’s line while attending the Commonwealth Day services at Westminster Abbey.
