Amazon founder and casual multi-billionaire Jeff Bezos is officially engaged to his girlfriend Lauren Sánchez—as in, he went to Jared whatever the opposite of Jared is and bought her a ring worth over $2 million.
Since making their relationship diamond-official, Lauren and Jeff are now spending their time doing what most engaged couples do: taking photos of each other on their super yacht. Just a classic tale of pure romance we can all relate to!

If you've been wondering why Lauren looks so familiar, that might be because her career highlights include guest spots on The View and Larry King Live, not to mention being a special correspondent on Extra *and* a cohost on Good Day L.A. and News at 10. You also might recognize her as the original host of So You Think You Can Dance or from her part in the critically-not-that-acclaimed Matt Damon movie We Bought a Zoo.

Lauren was nominated for an Emmy for her work on the sports magazine Going Deep, and then she won an Emmy for her work as a co-anchor on UPN News 13. Sigh, UPN. Those were the good ol' days.
She Has Her Own Production Company
It's called Black Ops Aviation and specifically focuses on aerial film and production. Makes sense, since Lauren has her helicopter license.
Oh, and apparently Jeff learned how to fly the helicopter when they started dating, but he's not great at it: “I’ve realized that when I’m in the back of the helicopter when he’s flying, I just kind of have to look out the window, just kind of enjoy the scenery" Lauren told CNN. "I’m like, ‘No, no. Pull up. Okay. Okay, Slow down. But he’s very good.”
She Was Previously Married
Lauren was married to Hollywood agent Patrick Whitesell, and they had two children together.
Lauren was previously in a relationship with NFL tight end Tony Gonzales, and they also share a child together. She described their great coparenting relationship to WSJ Magazine, saying, "I learned how to co-parent with him, so I have more experience than Jeff might have. Tony and his wife are my best friends. It wasn’t always that way. There was friction. But Tony and Tobie were at Thanksgiving with us, and we’re really good friends."

Since then the couple has become more public about their relationship, with Jeff telling CNN, “Lauren is the most generous, most big-hearted person that you would ever meet. So, she is an inspiration in that way. She never misses a birthday. The network of people that she gives birthday presents to is gigantic. And that’s just a small example.”
Meanwhile, Lauren said, “We’re really great teammates, and we also have a lot of fun together. And we love each other… We always look at each other and we’re the team.”
They Blended Their Families
Jeff and Lauren both have children, and it sounds everyone spends a lot of time together: “We can be kind of boring,” Lauren told CNN when asked how they spend Saturday nights. “I would say normal. We have dinner with the kids. That’s always fun and a great conversation. There’s seven between us, so there’s a lot of discussion. And then we watch a movie… by committee. It takes a long time to find that movie.”

Turns out Lauren and Bezos were both born in Albuquerque, New Mexico "just six years apart" as she put it to WSJ. I mean, guess it was fate?
