Here’s Every Air Jordan Sneaker Releasing in January

With December coming to a close and an always-flush slate of sneakers having vied for attention during the holiday shopping season, the first month of the new year appears to be relatively light on the Air Jordan front. There is still one more major holiday for Jordan Brand (and Nike) to celebrate soon after, as its annual assortment of Chinese New Year sneakers dominates the month’s release calendar.

So far, all but one of the Air Jordan sneaker releases on the books for January will rep the Year of the Dragon. The month will still see the first Air Jordan 1 High of the year, however, as its “Yellow Ochre” colorway previews more to come from the brand.
As always, this list is fluid and new sneakers will be added as their release details become available. Take a look below at all the Air Jordan sneakers slated to arrive in January.
Air Jordan 38 Low “White/Black/Siren Red”
Release Date: Jan. 9
Price: $175
Jordan Brand is chopping the top off the Air Jordan 38, allowing for more freedom of movement in the ankle while still boasting performance features that include the debut of the X-Plate underfoot, a full-length Zoom Strobel, and Cushlon 3.0 foam.
Air Jordan 2 Women’s “Sail/Black”
Release Date: Jan. 10
Price: $175
This women’s-exclusive Air Jordan 2 features a faux lizard print and a color scheme inspired by WNBA legend Sheryl Swoope’s first signature sneaker.
Air Jordan 1 High “Yellow Ochre”
Release Date: Jan. 13
Price: $180
“Yellow Ochre” is going to get a lot of play for Jordan Brand in 2023, including the first pair of Air Jordan 1 Highs to release in the new year. The color scheme mimics the iconic Air Jordan 1 “Chicago,” only with its namesake color replacing red. So far, this is the only confirmed Air Jordan arriving in January outside of the Chinese New Year assortment.
Air Jordan 2 “Python”

The Air Jordan 2’s snake theme for the spring season continues with a more realistic python print pulled from the Air Jordan 11 Low.
Air Jordan 14 Low Women’s “Love Letter”
Release Date: Jan. 24
Price: $180
An all-new, women’s-exclusive Air Jordan 14 colorway takes on iridescent, tropical-inspired “Mineral Teal” for its can’t-miss upper.
Air Jordan 1 Low “Chinese New Year”
Release Date: Jan. 24
Price: $160
The dragon theme for Chinese New Year sees green leather take on a scaly texture, a red Swoosh appears in suede for even more textural variation. This is the more colorful of two Air Jordan 1 Lows releasing for the holiday, and it’s completed with an icy blue translucent outsole.
Air Jordan 1 Low SE “Year of the Dragon”
Release Date: Jan. 24
Price: $125
The second of the Air Jordan 1 Lows planned for Chinese New Year should be more limited than the other, as denoted by the “SE,” and features an intricate, metallic gold Swoosh matching an embroidered tongue Swoosh and special logo for the insole.
Air Jordan 38 “Chinese New Year”
Release Date: Jan. 24
Price: $200
The latest sneaker in the Air Jordan franchise adds to the Chinese New Year collection a burgundy sitting well on the upper and its rich mix of textures. Translucent panels are used for the sole unit, which mixes shades of mint green, baby blue, and mustard yellow. If you’re looking to actually hoop in your Chinese New Year Jordans, this is the pair for you.
Air Jordan 6 “Yellow Ochre”
Release Date: Jan. 27
Price: $200
The Air Jordan 6’s beloved “Carmine” colorway is remixed with “Yellow Ochre” replacing red. The arrangement will otherwise feel familiar with it use of white and black, as well as the icy blue translucent sole paneling.
