Ever since legendary hairstylist Garren gave model Karlie Kloss a long bob, a string of starlets have followed in her footsteps, lopping inches off their hair for a shoulder-grazing cut that, after seeing hundreds of variations, is officially universally flattering. L’Oreal’s celebrity hairstylist, Mara Roszak, is behind at least two of them—Emma Stone and Kate Mara—and says it’s gained popularity for being so versatile. “There are so many variations of this cut, from blunt to choppy, shoulder length and up; there is truly something for everyone,” she says. “And it’s low maintenance! It has immediate style without requiring much work—if any.”
