May 21—Arts Center to hold dance recital

3 and 7 p.m. Saturday

The Arts Center will hold the Reach for the Stars Peter Pan Ballet dance recital at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, May 25 at the Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center at 7 Town Square in Lima.

The show will feature the Lost Boys, Captain Hook, Tinker Bell and Peter Pan in a show for all ages.

Bluffton Cars and Coffee

8-11 a.m. Saturday

Bluffton Cars and Coffee will be from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 25 at Masterpiece Signs and Graphics, Inc. at 902 N. Main St. in Bluffton.

Auto enthusiasts will gather to share coffee and classic, exotic, sports and luxury cars at this free event featuring coffee by Twisted Whisk Cafe.

Bluffton Cars and Coffee takes plays every fourth Saturday of the month until October.

Lima Memorial Day Parade

10 a.m. Monday

The Friends of Lima will hold the Veterans Memorial Day Parade starting at 10 a.m. Monday, May 27 at Northland Plaza and moving south on Main Street in Lima.

There will be a float judging at 9 a.m. and a military flyover prior to the parade start.

After-parade events will start at 11 a.m. with food trucks and trophy awards at 311 E. Market St.

Chicken Dinner Fundraiser

11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday

The Spencerville Fire Department will hold a Chicken Dinner Fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, May 27 at the VFW Bowersock Brothers Post 6772 at 130 S. Broadway in Spencerville.

Proceeds for meals including chicken halves, green beans, potato salad, a roll with butter and a cookie go toward equipment upgrades for the firefighters.

Dinners cost $13 and diners can dine in, carry out or take them via the drive-thru.

Memorial Day Garage Sale

9 a.m.-2 pm. Monday

There will be a Memorial Day Garage Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, May 27 at the Harrod Event Center at 9520 Harrod Road.

The free event will also have a craft sale and food trucks.

—Roscommon Sessions: 7-9 p.m. Saturday, May 25 at Ottawa Metro Park Amphitheater — Traditional Irish music group Roscommon Sessions will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Ottawa Metro Park Amphitheater at 2632 Ada Road, Lima.

The free event will kick off the venue's summer series.

—Walking Boss: 7-10:30 p.m. Friday, May 24 at Heritage Park — The band Walking Boss will perform from 7 to 10:30 p.m. Friday at Heritage Park on the south side of the Auglaize River in downtown Wapakoneta.

The event is a part of the Wapakoneta Chamber of Commerce's free Friday night concert series.

—Lima Warriors: 6 p.m. Saturday, May 25 at Allen East High School — The Lima Warriors semi-pro football team will take on the NKY Wolf Pack in a game starting at 6 p.m. Saturday at Allen East High School at 9105 Harding Highway, Harrod.

Tickets cost $10 for adults, $6 for kids and is free of charge for kids 5 and younger.
