Evan Rachel Wood’s makeup artist used one of our all-time favorite CC creams for her SAG beauty look
It’s only human nature for us to value the recommendation of a product or experience more highly when we’ve seen it touted by a celebrity or public figure we like. So when we found out that Evan Rachel Wood used a CC Cream we’ve been gushing about during her appearance at the 2017 SAG Awards on Sunday night, we felt incredibly validated.
In addition to the striking blue velvet blazer and trousers she wore on Sunday, Evan Rachel Wood’s routine included the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream and it did the wonders it boasts of.
The makeup artist, Toby Fleischman, shared his vision for Wood’s SAG Awards look in an email to HelloGiggles.
She said:
“One of the many things I love about Evan is she always likes to keep them guessing. So for our SAG awards look, she wanted to compliment the incredible blue velvet Altuzarra suit with a really feminine beauty look which is something we haven’t done in a while. In fact, our reference point for the day was a “Snow White fairytale.” We kept the focus on her gorgeous porcelain complexion and created a soft, gold “doll eye.” It was the perfect complement for a bold lip.”
The transformation from her red carpet suit look to her blue gown on the red carpet definitely tapped into the fairytale feel.
