Eva Mendes is a lot of things: She's an actress, a designer, a style icon, Ryan Gosling's partner, a mother to the couple's daughter, Esmeralda Amada Gosling, and for today, she's the birthday girl. The star is ringing in her 42nd year and she's celebrating in flawless fashion, as per usual.

Style and glamour are something Mendes knows all too well, as she's been busy collaborating and designing her namesake collection for New York & Company since 2013, along with launching her beauty line, CIRCA Beauty in 2015, which is sold exclusively at Walgreens.

In fact, now that she's a mom, her fashion and beauty regimens have definitely changed since she's busy running after a toddler these days. "It's just gotten a lot faster now," Mendes previously explained to InStyle.

"Like, maybe I'll skip the toner now. You know what I mean? Dear toner, I don't have time for you anymore! So I just go straight to moisturizer and if I'm being really honest, I'll probably skip the cleanser as well. You just go down to the basics, you're like, 'OK, this is what I need.'"
