Eva Mendes Gives a Rare, Sweet Shoutout to Ryan Gosling

Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling keep their relationship incredibly private and out of the Hollywood spotlight—but sometimes, we get a sweet glimpse of their love.

On Instagram yesterday, the Hitch star shared a series of photos of herself standing in what is presumably her and Gosling’s house, in a breezy spring dress. The maxi from Chufy features a mock turtleneck and an abstract print in white, orange, brown, and red. She styled the piece with bright orange sandals by Charles & Keith and matching hoop earrings by Lizzie Fortunato.

In the caption for her fashion-filled post, Mendes simply wrote, “I love waiting for him…” seemingly referring to Gosling.

The actors first met on the set of The Place Beyond the Pines in 2011 and quickly fell into a passionate romance. They welcomed their first child, daughter Esmeralda Amada Gosling, in 2014, and their second girl, Amada Lee Gosling, in 2016. In 2022, Mendes finally confirmed her marriage to Gosling, though it’s unknown to the public when they officially tied the knot.

Over the years, Mendes has opened up about why she and Gosling keep their relationship so private, and why they choose not to post family photos on social media.

“I have always had a clear boundary when it comes to my man and my kids. I’ll talk about them of course, with limits, but I won’t post pictures of our daily life,” Mendes wrote in a since-deleted post on Instagram in 2020. “Since my children are still so little and don’t understand what posting their image really means, I don’t have their consent. And I won’t post their image until they’re old enough to give me consent.”
