Eva Longoria looked ultra sophisticated for a brunch celebrating her directorial debut, Flamin’ Hot, on Saturday.
The multi-hyphenate stunned in an elegant figure-hugging, floor-length gown featuring a design that looked straight from an art gallery wall. The semi-sheer dress was decorated in abstract geometric shapes of a cream hue and featured ruching detailing along the center of the bust and mock neckline. Longoria paired the piece with brown pointed-toe heels and accessorized minimally, with chunky gold hoop earrings and a couple gold rings. As for glam, she kept things glowy, opting for a shimmery smoky eye, black winged eyeliner, bronzy blush, a peachy lip, and a glossy pale pink manicure. Longoria rounded off the look by styling her hair down in soft waves with a voluminous, slicked-back side-part.
The Desperate Housewives alum took photos with actor and Honest Company founder Jessica Alba—who sported a dark preppy look composed of a black sweater over a gray-and-black plaid button down, a pleated gray skirt, black tights, matching leather boots, and a black silk-lined trench coat—and actor Ariana DeBose, who stunned in a bright springtime look composed of a sky-blue button-up shift dress and metallic silver pointed-toe pumps. DeBose also served as the event’s host.
Later in the day, Longoria attended the BAFTA Tea Party, where she upped the drama and the sheerness. She cut a sultry figure in a black see-through button-down shirt adorned with floral lace detailing over a strapless black bra, which she tucked into a pleated silk midi skirt featuring wide floral lace detailing along the waistband and hem. She teamed the glamorous monochromatic ensemble with transparent pointed-toe ballet flats, several sparkly rings, and diamond stud earrings. This time, Longoria displayed a darker smoky eye and a nude pink lip, while wearing her hair in a lovely side-parted updo.
At the BAFTA event, too, Longoria was acknowledged her work on Flamin’ Hot, a biographical comedy-drama based on the story of Frito-Lay janitor Richard Montañez, the son of a Mexican immigrant, credited with the invention of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. The spicy snack, inspired by the flavors of his heritage, disrupted the American food industry.
