Eva Longoria Wore a $109 Dress of Her Own Design as She Eviscerated Trump in DNC Speech

Speaking during the first night of the Democratic National Convention Monday, actor Eva Longoria went all out. The recently-married star attacked Donald Trump directly for his comments about immigrants, Mexicans, women, and those with disabilities, explaining just why the Republican candidate and former reality television personality’s choice of words — and potential presidency — are things she takes so personally:

“My father is not a criminal or a rapist. In fact, he’s a United States veteran. When Trump cruelly mocked a disabled reporter, he was also mocking my special needs sister, Lisa, and many like her. When he said that a wife who works is a very dangerous thing, he not only insulted me, he insulted my mother, who worked as a special education teacher for 40 years and raised four children while being a wife.”

And for an extra personal touch, Longoria did so while wearing her own design from her new collaboration with the Limited.

You might even say that Longoria was driving home for Trump that she is not that different than his beloved daughter, Ivanka, who also wore a dress from her namesake collection when she spoke to Republican convention attendees last week.

The Plaid Houndstooth Knit Jacquard Dress will debut on TheLimited.com on Sept. 7 and retail for $109.95. The eva longoria for the Limited collection is described as “sleek and modern,” embodying Longoria’s “confident style.” And the way that confidence was on display last night is nothing short of a ringing endorsement.
