The polls for the 2022 midterm elections close tomorrow, Nov. 8.

With the midterm elections just mere hours away, many celebrities have used their social followings and influence to implore people to vote. 

From award-winning actors like Eva Longoria, Kerry Washington, and Kumail Nanjiani to popular musicians like John Legend, Katy Perry, and Billie Eilish, all parts of Hollywood are making their opinions on the importance of voting known. 

Kerry Washington had the most fun with it out of the whole bunch, as the actress shared a video of her dropping off her vote in one of the ballot boxes reserved for early voting. While the actress danced and pranced her way to the voting station, Funn Club's "Whoomp! There It Is" could be heard playing in the background. 

"Polls, Party of 1 🙋🏾‍♀️ #PartyAtThePolls #VotingSquad," the caption read.

Supermodel Paulina Porizkova has taken up a second job canvassing with her two sons in South Philly. She shared a clip from her recent adventures going door-to-door on Instagram alongside a detailed caption. 

"We started with trepidation, we had never done anything like this before, and the three of us didn’t know what to expect. What we got was a lot of closed doors but also some lovely connections and conversations. (If anyone recognized me, they didn’t let it show!😂)," she wrote in part.

Celebrities aren't the only influencers trying to talk people into understanding the importance of casting their vote. Krispy Kreme, as well as former president Barack Obama, have also issued their own campaigns.
