Eva Longoria rocked a red bikini on Instagram, saluting her Desperate Housewives character who loved diamonds and the happy hue.

"Even #20YearsLater, she still knew red was her color," Longoria, 46, wrote on Instagram Friday, posting a photo of herself posing in a red one-shoulder bikini. Another slide featured her as Gabrielle Solis, the model turned housewife character who loved the color red (it's also Longoria's real-life favorite shade) on the ABC drama that ran for eight seasons until 2012. "#DesperateHousewives," she tagged the image with more than 91,000 likes.

Although it appears that she's lounging, the actress-director is hard at work. This week, she officially cast her upcoming project, the film Flamin’ Hot about Richard Montañez, a former Frito Lay janitor who created the spicy chip Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, to be filmed this summer in New Mexico.

And she's the latest celebrity to get virtual face time with Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases on the importance of the COVID-19 vaccination, following on the heels of Jennifer Garner, Kim Kardashian and more.

Longoria, who shares son Santiago, 2, with husband José Bastón, has been dropping white and pink swimsuit shots as we lean into summer. "Is it bathing suit season yet?" she captioned her most recent pic, not to mention scenes from a trampoline workout (on a boat) that explain exactly how the star stays in shape.

But her newest post is a fan favorite, stirring nostalgia for the iconic character. "Gaby [is] always present," someone commented, with others adding "Gabrielle Solis forever" and "Best show. Favorite character."
