Eva Longoria, 48, Claims She Looks 'Unrecognizable' In New No-Makeup Video

Eva Longoria, 48, is always gorgeous, but she recently showed off her makeup-free glow in a new YouTube video. The Desperate Housewives star shared her skincare and makeup routine with Vogue magazine, and you'll probably want to take notes.

"You probably don't recognize me without lashes and makeup," Eva jokingly says at the beginning of the Vogue video, which is aptly titled her "hottest mom" routine. (And even though she claims she looks unrecognizable because she wears a full face of makeup every day, Eva's skin is still slaying!)

In the video, Eva walks through her beauty routine step-by-step, from skincare to makeup. She starts off with hydrating her skin with L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Pure Hyaluronic Acid Face Serum. "I taught the world how to say hyaluronic acid," Eva says, referencing her 2019 L'Oreal commercial. It's worth noting that Eva is currently an ambassador for the brand. Then, she follows that up with the dynamic duo of Augustinus Bader Face Oil and Augustinus Bader Rich Cream, which moisturizes her "normal to dry" skin. Next, Eva explains, "I use my Facify machine to de-puff my skin."

Once she's done with the beauty massager wand, she reaches for another beloved L'Oreal product: the Revatilift Eye Serum. "I love this applicator because it has these little balls, and they feel so good," Eva says. She explains that she applies the serum generously because she then lays some Augustinus Bader Eye Patches over it.

As Eva continues her skincare routine, she explains that since it's so dry in Los Angeles right now, she is currently loving the internet-famous Laneige Lip Mask. And because she lives in such a warm and sunny climate, she understands the importance of protecting her skin with SPF. "I never do less than 50 [SPF]," she says, before rubbing L'Oreal's Bright Reveal Broad Spectrum Sunscreen into her skin. She follows that up with another buzzy product she just recently discovered, the L'Oreal Lumi Glotion. Phew, with all that attention to detail, no wonder she's got such flawless skin!

After Eva shared a snippet of her beauty video on Instagram, she (unsurprisingly) received a lot of love in the comments, from her adoring fans to fellow celebs like Tracee Ellis Ross.

"Love you beautiful woman," the Girlfriends actress wrote. "Beautiful with and without make-up," a fan said. And obviously, lots of "😍" were tossed out, too.

The Flamin' Hot director's beauty routine goes beyond what she puts on her face. Eva practices intermittent fasting and makes sure she gets her beauty sleep by wearing an Oura ring to track her rest, she previously told Women's Health.

Eva even turns her sleep schedule into a competition with her friends. "My friends and I send each other scores,” she told Women's Health in January 2022. “I’ll be like, ‘I got a 94, top that!’" (Oura ranks a sleep score out of 100.)

And her nutrition also contributes to her healthy skin, as she tries to incorporate plant-based options into her daily diet—which also reminds her of her roots. “I grew up on a ranch where we ate what was on the land—when it was squash season, we ate squash for three months," she also told WH. "It gave me such an appreciation for where food comes from: It comes from the ground."
