A Professional Astrologer Broke Down Each "Euphoria" Character By Their Zodiac Sign, And These Make A Lot Of Sense
You know HBO’s Euphoria by now — it's the show everyone's watching and talking about.

If you need more proof, Euphoria's season two premiere has garnered over 13.1 million viewers since its Jan. 9th release date, according to Complex.
But people aren’t just discussing the intense episodes or personal lives of the cast. Within the astrology community, there has also been a curiosity about which Euphoria character matches with which zodiac sign.
So as a professional astrologer, I’ve taken the liberty of appointing each character a zodiac sign that aligns with their personality and actions from the past two seasons.
From Ashtray's fiery and combative personality, to Cassie’s dreamy and delusional notions about love, these are the Euphoria characters that define the 12 zodiac signs. (And quick note that this post contains mild spoilers for season 1 and 2 so far, in case you're not caught up yet!)
HBO Max / Via Giphy
Aries (March 21–April 19): Ashtray
Taurus (April 20–May 20): Lexi
HBO Max / Via Giphy
Like most artistically inclined Tauruses, Lexi uses her keen creative mind to craft a play that reflects her real-life squad, family, and personal insights for all of the school to see.
Tauruses are also known to be patient and calm towards those they love, which is how Lexi acts — even towards her sister, Cassie, who often makes her feel unwelcome in her life.
Gemini (May 21–June 21): Faye
Cancer (June 22–July 22): Fez
HBO Max / Via Giphy
Like the sign Cancer, Fez is extremely big-hearted, compassionate, and protective of those he cares about — which is often shown through how he looks out for Rue and Jules, and how sincere and kind he is to his crush, Lexi.
However, his suspicious, moody, and temperamental side — as all Cancers have — can come out when he is pushed to the edge and decides to react.
Leo (July 23–Aug. 22): Marie
Virgo (Aug. 23–Sept. 22): Rue
HBO Max / Via Giphy
It's mentioned on the TV show that Rue’s birthday is September 14, 2001, which makes her a Virgo. Being that Rue is the analytical narrator of the series — who’s constantly discussing her thoughts and the dynamics of her high school and peer group — she is completely in line with all the attributes of the earth sign Virgo.
It’s also hard for Rue to get rid of her habits (even though they’re bad), which resonates with Virgos who can sometimes have an addictive personality.
Libra (Sept. 23–Oct. 23): Jules
HBO Max / Via Giphy
Everyone knows that Libras are the ultimate believers and cheerleaders of love. Jules, in true Libra form, takes her relationships seriously and is always looking for love.
Her unconditional love for others makes her give more than she receives, which is why Jules’ character resonates most with the zodiac sign Libra. Both are known to be romantics who are looking for a long-lasting connection with another person, so they can give without expecting anything in return from those they adore.
Scorpio (Oct. 24–Nov. 21): Kat
HBO Max / Via Giphy
When Kat started camming on a porn site and became a mysterious dominatrix, she was heading into the deep waters of the intense water sign Scorpio. In doing so, her goal was to take power back and own her narrative after falling victim to a sex tape leak — and it's an intention that fully aligns with this specific zodiac sign.
The reason being is that Scorpios have a brooding sensuality that lies within themselves, as they aren’t afraid of embracing taboos, shedding insight on their innermost fantasies, and being open about their desires without hesitation.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22–Dec. 21): Nate
HBO Max / Via Giphy
Impulsive decisions and emotions are qualities that define Sagittariuses, which is why this fire sign aligns with Nate. Although Sagittariuses aren’t necessarily abusive to their peers, Nate’s quick temper and fiery disposition push him to act out and hurt others.
He needs a moment (or a few of them) to cool down all of his temperaments before asserting, expressing, or reacting to them in order to avoid hurting the feelings and physical space of others.
Capricorn (Dec. 22–Jan. 19): Ali
HBO Max / Via Giphy
As Rue’s sober coach and sponsor, Ali offers pivotal advice and guidance based on his own experiences. Not only that, but Ali uses his reflective nature (this is an innate part of Capricorn's personality) to help Rue and others grow through their sobriety.
He also wants to act in a true paternal form, which is associated with Capricorns as they’re known to be the caretakers of the zodiac.
Aquarius (Jan. 20–Feb. 18): Maddy
HBO Max / Via Giphy
In the second season of Euphoria, Maddy’s birthday party occurs a few weeks after New Year's Eve, which could make her an Aquarius.
Being that she outwardly remains in control of her emotions when mad or upset, like most aloof-yet-calculating Aquarians, she remains loyal to others — that is, according to Nate.
