'Euphoria' Star Launches Sultry Swimwear Collection

The swimsuit line is inspired by 'Italian summer romance.'

Sydney Sweeney unveiled her sultry swimsuit line.

When the Euphoria star donned a sexy Frankies Bikinis swimsuit on the show, the bright-pink garment went viral. It quickly sold out, and, over a year later, there's still a waitlist for the "Gemma" one piece.

Now, Sweeney has teamed up with Frankies Bikinis for her first venture into clothing design.

A press release said the collection will make "you feel like your most romantic and sexy self" and is inspired by "Italian summer romance." The bikinis are more akin to the style of lingerie, with sensual, feminine designs.

In an interview with Elle, Sweeney explained that it makes perfect sense for her to make her own swimwear line because she "grew up on the water, always running around in a bikini."

Sweeney said, "If I wasn't swimming in the lake or the ocean, I was skiing or attempting to surf. So there was always a part of me that wanted to create something that truly felt like me, and with Francesca [Aiello] and her incredible company, we really created something special."

She revealed that after the Euphoria episode's outfit went viral, she met up with Frankies Bikinis founder Francesca Aiello and "instantly hit it off."

The first drop of the collection arrives on March 14 at 12 p.m. ET, and a second one hits the site in April. Those eager to snag the swimsuits can sign up for early access on the site, which will allow you to purchase the items an hour before public release.
