The ‘Euphoria’ Season Finale Totally Destroyed Twitter and the Fans Will Never Recover

  • Fans of the show have a lot of feelings and are flooding Twitter with the best reactions.

Major Euphoria season 1 spoilers ahead! If you’re all caught up, queue up the soundtrack and dive into these on-point Twitter reactions.

Last night was the Euphoria season 1 finale and it was filled with heavy moments, like Cassie’s abortion, Nate’s fight with his dad, and the heartbreaking final scene where the show broke down why Rue is so attached to her red hoodie—it belonged to her dad and I’ll never be able to look at it without crying! It was also filled with some hell-yes moments, like when Jules and Rue gave Nate the middle finger on the dance floor, when Kat and Ethan kissed while BTS’s Jungkook’s “Euphoria” played in the background, and when Rue made the (very wise) decision to stay at home and not go to “the city” with Jules.

It was a wild night in the land of, well, wherever these Euphoria kids live, and it’s safe to say that Twitter is still processing everything and will probably need until next season to recover.

First off, people are still in awe of how one show can be so perfect and be centered around so many badass women!

There was also a lot of crying last night. Honestly, if you didn’t tear up during Zendaya’s dance scene, which also looked like it coulda been filmed during Sunday Service, you might want to check if you have a pulse.

Speaking of Zendaya/Rue’s dance, it was emotional, yes, but also...interesting.

It’s art, so let’s just go with it!

Oh, and there were definitely some conflicting feelings about Nate, who is the human embodiment of sh*t on your shoe but also going through a lot right now!

But it looks like Maddy might end him!

But ultimately, the fans just want MORE! More Fezco! More Lexi! More Gia!

Thankfully, Euphoria is coming back for another season, so no worries there.
