Etude House Is Launching a Tom & Jerry Makeup Collection

Beauty brands are drawing more and more inspiration from our childhoods, as with Colourpop's Disney Villain collection and H20+'s Little Mermaid skin-care line. For 2020, K-beauty brand Etude House is doing one better with a line inspired by our grandparents' childhoods. On December 31, Etude House will launch a Tom & Jerry-themed collection.

2020 is the year of the rat in the Chinese Zodiac, so Etude House naturally reached for the old school cat-and-mouse cartoon. Named Lucky Together, the collection includes items for both the Toms and Jerrys in your life.

Lucky Together is still in preview mode on Etude's site, so we don't know for sure what the collection will include. Judging by the photos and Instagram's handy zoom tool, we're picking up on eye shadow singles, liners, lip balm, lipstick or maybe a gloss, and, yes, toothbrushes.

Etude House, which is owned by the company behind K-beauty skin-care brand Amorepacific, celebrated Christmas with a Rudolf-themed collection complete with a faux-fur lined eye shadow palette. It's safe to say that the brand knows how to handle collabs, and we can't wait to see what Tom and Jerry are getting themselves into this time.

Etude House ships worldwide, so shoppers around the globe can ring in 2020 in style. Shop on December 31st for yourself — or the '40s cartoon geek in your life. After all, it's never too late to get your Grandma a holiday gift.
