Ethan Hawke Trolls Himself in Photos With Rihanna, Gwyneth Paltrow Leaves Best Comment

In honor of Rihanna's killer Super Bowl halftime show, Ethan Hawke reminisced on his delightful experience meeting the superstar years back, mocking a few throwback photos of the two chatting courtside.
In a carousel of photos shared on Monday, Hawke, 52, trolled his past self for seemingly forcing his son, Levon Roan Thurman-Hawke, then 12, to switch seats with him so the actor could engage with the Savage X and Fenty Beauty founder.
"After Rihanna’s brilliant half time [sic] performance, I’m hoping my son can find it in his heart to forgive a Dad for taking his moment," he joked in the post's caption–which you can view on Instagram here.
The original images, which were taken at the 64th NBA All-Star Game in New York City almost eight years ago to the day (Feb. 15, 2015), show Rihanna first seated next to Levon, watching the game. At some point, though, Ethan manages to convince his son to move over and begins conversing with the "Love on the Brain" songstress.

As if trolling himself wasn't enough for fans, who immediately flooded the comments with statements like "Top 10 iconic moments of all time," "'I gotta put me first,'" and "This is EVERYTHING," enjoyed banter from Ethan's friends who chimed in with a few jokes at his expense.
The top comment came from his former Great Expectations co-star Gwyneth Paltrow, who ridiculed the Glass Onion star for his sloppy posture, "Could you sit up straight, for god’s sake? You’re sitting next to Rihanna!"
The Goop founder's comment went viral and was quickly reposted to other social media platforms as audiences laughed at the exchange.

Paltrow, 50, was also joined by other celebs who decided to rag on the actor–lovingly, of course.
"the extended leg!" squealed Trinkets and Euphoria actor Quintessa Swindell.
"BEST PIC EVER," exclaimed Bravo TV personality Andy Cohen, while Poker Face star Natasha Lyonne simply left a few fire emojis, "🔥🔥🔥."
Alyssa Milano later added, "Not sure I would have gone with this posture whilst sitting next to a goddess."
Levon, now 20, did not publicly comment on the post.
The Training Day lead shares his son and eldest daughter Maya Hawke, 24, with ex-wife Uma Thurman, whom he was married to from 1998 to 2005. Ethan is also dad to Clementine Jean Hawke, 14, and Indiana Hawke, 11, whom he welcomed with his wife of 15 years, Ryan Shawhughes Hawke.
